{Troop Composition!} 100 Zwanglider with 2 Pike Crew and 3 Archer Crew. (1K) 625 Goblin Trappers. (1K) 500 Flight of the Uruks. (2K) 200 Tunneler's Teams. (1K) 500 Climbers (1K)
No fortresses - allows me more mobility with the cavalry I plan on using.
Really? I picked it for the reason that it's a plain surrounded by mountains, a Goblin's habitat! Also, Edoras is situated in a large valley, so you still would have had some mobility. Maybe not quite as much as here, but still some.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

A plain surrounded by mountains will also favor my cavalry - you won't be able to retreat as well. Yes, also true, but to defend Edoras I'd have to have mostly ranged troops inside the fortress, and then send out the occasional cavalry charge.

Awesome. *The Climbers and Zwangliders hang out at the bottom of one of the 3 mountains surrounding the Gap, placing large thick beams in the ground.* *All other units climb with thick ropes attached to these beams.*
here's my set-up.

So are the beams at the bottom of the mountain? And if so, why did you attach your units to them, if they're wanting to climb upward? Just trying to understand what you're trying to do. Also, are these the mountains to the North or South? I just checked a map of the Gap and it showed a group of mountains to the north and one to the south.
Anyways, here's my set up: *to the opposite side to you, my forces enter, with the shield men and pikemen surrounding the onagers in the center of my forces, and the cavalry around them, with the dragoons on the right flank, the spearmen on the left flank, the archers half-and-half, and the cataphracts in the center.*

Your move.
North Mountains, and the beams are being set into the ground. Basically, I figured you'd be opposed to my Starting on the mountains and so I'm climbing my tanks up them as quickly as I can.
*The Other end of the wires are attached to rocks about 20 feet above arrow range from the bottom. All units begin making their way up the mountain, unless already up.*

Ah, okay. *My army continues toward you.* I'm about in the middle right now, in between the two mountain ranges.
