As Dale was a major trading town, they would likely have (limited) access to many other places' equipment. That would include a good bit of Dwarven weaponry, such as my repeating crossbows (which I believed you used in the old RP).
Ok, I use them now, too. Would Hussite war waggons be allowed? And maybe mounting some scorpions on some?
So, what is the difference between this and the other LOTR RP?
Hi Drake, welcome!
For the difference between the 3rd and 4th Age RPs, check out the post I made in this topic. It's the first one after KitKat's monster starter post, I think. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Ok, first off, the other LOTR RP is going through renovation. Second, their is very little difference as they are right now, if you can pick this one up, you can (currently) pick up the other RP with very little problems.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

Is only the HQ controller who controls all the units in the HQ, or does every new user who "joins" an HQ also get an army?
Hi there!
If there are no other members, the HQ leader controls all the troops, of course. If another member joins the HQ, then the HQ leader will give a percentage of the HQ's troops to the new member. Technically, the HQ leader has ultimate authority over all the troops in the HQ. But, generally speaking, new HQ members are allowed to do what they want with their troops, outside of the leader sometimes deciding where other members should send their troops.
