Jake continues to work, taking a small break. 50% Eric wakes up clamped to a table. Several beings clad in black and purple armor stand around him. He could hear whispering between them, catching brief phrases like new, teleporter, and Mata Nui. He didn't really care what they were talking about though, as he was more focused on the fact that he was strapped down and they were holding some sharp looking tools. He twists his hands in the clamps to touch the table, and several Kestora find themselves impaled by newly formed spikes. The rest fall silent as they try to understand what happened, and Eric frees himself from the clamps to fire shadow bolts at them. They Kestora retreat out of the room leaving the wounded and dead behind, sealing the exit behind them. Eric climbs down from the table, and approaches a lame Kestora. "Who are you?" The Kestora answers after a moment of silence, in which Eric charged a shadow bolt threateningly. "We are the Kestora. We operate this place." "Where are we?" Eric asks. "It is a place to repair the broken and send them back to where they belong." "So why am I here?" "You were broken, and so we repaired you. We can't send you back however, so we decided to dissect you so to find a clue as to how to send others like you back." The Kestora answers plainly. Eric ignores the mention of the dissection. "Why can't you send me back." "It's broken." "What's broken?" "It." In response to the Kestora's vague answers, Eric waves the hand with the shadow energy in it's palm. The Kestora decides it might be wise to answer with less vagueness. "The sender. The thing the white being with the weapon is guarding." Eric sighs. "Where is it? And where are my weapons?" The Kestora gives general directions to the armory and the teleporter, and it lets out a shriek as Eric looses the charged shadow blast upon it. He then leaves to the armory. Jake looks up as several Kestora run by, seemingly away from something. Construction at 55% Eric arrives at the armory, and browses the weapons. There are several strange and powerful weapons lying about, although Eric has next to no clue as to what they do. He decides trying to pick up a couple weapons, and settles upon a strange staff. He gets the feeling that the staff has some great power, but has no idea what it is or how to activate it. He shrugs. He has the Kestora to deal with. Jake looks up once again as a Kra-Matoran walks by, carrying Vanisher's Staff, and stops in front of Jake. "Don't worry, this will be back to normal in no time, you can go back home." Jake tells the matoran. "So this is the teleporter?" "Indeed it is." The matoran nods, and walks off.

Construction at 60% Eric moves through the Red Star, eventually coming upon the room where the Kestora are currently reviving a very dead being. It dawns on him what this place does, and thinks about it. If he died again, then he wouldn't come back to life if he killed all the Kestora. But if he didn't do anything, then everyone he didn't like that died would also come back to life. It was a sticky situation, but then he had a realization. The Kestora had no combat skill, and so were very easy to slaughter. But on the flip side, that also makes them very easy to conquer. And that would mean he controls who comes back to life, and when, if they do at all. The problem was how to ensure they stay loyal. Oh well, details can wait until after he rules this place. He begins his conquest: ~0%

Jake's Construction of portal at 70% Eric's Conquest of the Kestora at 50% Portal Construction at 75% Red Star Conquest at 75% Portal Construction at 80% Red Star Conquest at 100%, and Eric is officially the ruler of the Red Star. He commands the Kestora to go back to reviving people, and takes a couple off to the side so they can show him how people are revived. After they teach Eric how to do so, they're sent back to their posts. He realizes the possibilities for changes in the code, and begins messing around with a random matoran's code. He starts by giving him the ability to use kanohi, and the ability to use elemental fire. He also programs an incredible weak will that is very open to suggestion. Several tests later, involving the death of the same matoran and altering program while reviving him, Eric has a general understanding of the Red Star's capabilities. He gives the obedient matoran some very specific and precise instructions, and kills himself. The obedient matoran picked up Eric's body, and prepares it for resurrection. He carefully changes some aspects of the code, unlocking and granting select abilities such as complete control over shadow, adaptation, ability to use kanohi, and stasis field dissipation, along with what he has already. Eric wakes up, and feels the changes immediately. It's a bit of a shock, and Eric just sits on the table while he adjusts. After a couple minutes Eric starts to experiment with his powers, using the obedient matoran to help test them. After sufficient experimentation, Eric picks up his staff and opens a portal back to the GSR, giving the obedient matoran one command before going. Obedient matoran rules in Eric's absence.

Can we not? You'll have to put all of this in through the FAC before you can even think of having this. A matoran who knows how to bring the dead back to life as well as change the code in beings? And add that a matoran is getting full shadow control, adaptation, kanohi use and stasis field dissipation? Yeah, this is all nulled. We don't even know that it's possible to change code, unless you're a Great Being. Or Mata Nui. Or maybe Tren Krom. Or if your Energized Protodermis. Or if you are the Ignika. Nulled.

Why? These are canon abilities done through a possibly canon way Said Matoran doesn't know how to do this without the Red Star's equipment. And those powers aren't even the craziest powers that exist in the MU. Resists temptation to point out blatant self contradictionThe way Red Star revival works implies that some sort of upload and download of the being's mind is needed, saying that the "beings who died in the Matoran Universe were transported to the Red Star, where they would be placed in a new body." While it's unknown for sure if it's possible for the code to be changed, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch. I see that you've brought it to the RP Discussion Topic, I'll respond there shortly too

In an area of the Red Star, arcs of electricity crackle through a hallway for a moment, only to have them come together and rip open a portal. A half a dozen kestora stand aside, watching the portal. A moment passes and six more kestora approach, distributing weapons amongst the group. A hand reaches through the portal, seeming gripping the edge of the portal to gain leverage to pull the through the owner of said hand. The kestora ready the bladed and projectile based weapons they have, when a black and silver clad Vortixx with a rifle on his back emerges. With the presence of the kestora, a wicked smile crosss the Vortixx’ face, “Hrm. This brings back memories.” The Vortixx shoots arcs of electricity at two of the kestora and they go flying. Two kestora grab one each of his forearms, holding them at a down ward angle as two sword wielding kestora rush forward. Two foot long blades shoot out of the wrist of the Vortixx, piercing the torso of the kestora holding his arms. The Vortixx parries the attack from the kestora on the right, driving a wrist blade through the maw of the kestora on the left. The left kestora’s body falls to the ground and the Vortixx kicks the right kestora in the knee, bringing it down and using his wrist blades to separate its head from its shoulders. The Vortixx looks forward and the six remaining kestora are running. He takes the rifle off of his back and it’s barrel extends to the length of a sniper rifle, scope doing the same. “Fun.” The Vortixx racks the firing bolt and fires two consecutive shots, both landing. The four remaining kestora turn a corner. “Even better.”

Obedient Matoran approaches. "Stop! You can't destroy these beings! They are vital!" “Silly Matoran.” Vortaxx ejects the magazine from his rifle and drops it to the ground. A new one seems to appear in his hand and he loads it, “Of course I can destroy them. Did it once, I can do it again. And I think I just did.”
