Scorpion Harness-bearer: "The thing that worries me is, how long will it take for everyone to put down their weapons and 'talk', as you say, even in a world like that? To un-learn war is a lot to ask of sapients. What if we all slayed each other before finally agreeing to cease conflict? Then every one of us would be left as ghosts, which means we'd have no children, no descendants, so history would stagnate--" Scorponok: "Forgive my brother-in-arms' whataboutisms, Lycor. It's in his nature; debating has always been a strength of his." Scorpion Harness-bearer: "Headmaster--!" Scorponok: "While there are potential downsides to your plan, Lycor, that's true of just about any plan in existence. There's no such thing as a perfect plan, or one that leads to an objective utopia, since the many beings in this world all have their own idea of what a utopia would look like. However, your plan does sound like the closest to utopia we can get, as you said." Lycor: "Precisely. I had a feeling you'd be the first to understand, Scorponok, due to our shared experience in the Great Forest not long ago..." The Lion King eyes the scorpion Harness-bearer. Lycor: "However, the ones who will initiate the Illumination themselves must of course be in agreement. I must confirm: do you agree to carry out this plan?" The scorpion glances at Scorponok. Scorpion Harness-bearer: "...I agree...if the Headmaster agrees. Even if I'm critical of a plan, I have faith in his decision. We of the Stinger Brotherhood will follow Scorponok, whatever path he deems right." The lion's lip twitches, but he then smiles as Scorponok nods. Lycor: "Excellent. I'm glad to have you both on my side. Pardon the cliche, but you Harness-bearers truly will be the ones to save the world. Now, unless you have more business to discuss, I must bid you two farewell for now, as I've other important matters to address." The two scorpions nod, bow politely, and leave the room. Lycor shakes his head and mutters: "Such blind patriotism, such limitless, almost childish faith in his tribe...as always, it will lead irrevocably to disappointment, to despair, even. That scorpion must be in his late twenties, at most. Ah, to be young and delusional...it takes me back to just a few years ago. If I didn't know better, I'd be envious of him; ignorance can be bliss. Still, if that blind faith in his leader is what convinced him to go along with the Realm-Merging Plan, so be it." Now, the two scorpions talk in a secluded part of Lion City. Scorponok: "I'll pretend to go along with Lycor's plan. You do, too." Harness-bearing scorpion: "Why though?" Scorponok: "I may not be able to see Lycor, but the tone of his voice was one that indicated he wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. If we'd refused to go with his plan, he would've seized the Harness you wear, and given it to some 'destined' lion who'll do anything his King says; he already confiscated the two other Harnesses we brought to 'keep them secure', after all. Hence why we need to pretend we're following Lycor's plan, right up until the decisive moment, if we want to make the Phoenix Mortality Plan a reality." Harness-bearing scorpion: "Oh, I see. I didn't even think of it like that; guess that's why you're our Headmaster, huh?" Scorponok: "Lycor is fully devoted to his plan, but I am to mine as well. The problems with the Realm-Merging Plan that you brought up are all valid, and while the Phoenix Mortality Plan obviously isn't perfect, the former's downsides outweigh the latter's. I can understand where Lycor is coming from, especially due to recent events, but his idea is far too extreme; I won't let him turn Chima into a netherworld where we all might as well be ghosts." Harness-bearing scorpion: "Right. I'm with you to the end, Sire." ***Soon after, Anastasia Gulikovsky and Lyrix (along with, presumably, Scordon and Spalyx; TheFirstDecade ) return to Lion City to rendezvous with the scorpion Harness-bearer. The other two Fire Wing Harnesses here are tried on by various lions in the hope of finding another destined wearer. OOC: ladymargaret TheCookingMysteryRider Last chance if you want any of your characters to wear a Fire Wing Harness and be directly involved in the Great Illumination, otherwise they'll be given to lion NPCs. ooc:no thanks, but I would like if you put one of your characters in my tribe ranks, I haven’t enough rpc and npcs for my tribe

in the middle of the night, a speedor goes throuh the city gates and the owner steps off the vehicle at the palace doors.the owner is a cloaked figure with lion fysics,at least that is what the guards could see.one of the guards asked:” who are you and what are your businesses”. the figure answers:”my name is lyranos, I am from the colony and I am sent by my commanding officer co- general tilas at request of chief diplomat elina in response of commodore ryzarlian’s rally of allies to ask king lycor for lion help on the invasion of the MRE coast.sir, could you please ask him if he can come or if I can get in a room for a meeting, because it is cold and the MRE fleet is already rallying to, so we need to attack with all our forces soon”. the guard that spoke replies, after sending one of the others to the king:” I am the night-guard-commander and if I may ask, what is your rank, if you think you can act like you are equal to the king and why are you coming now in the middle of the night?”reply:”I am sergeant and tunnelcat, sent by the highest in rank of the ET and I am so late because when suddenly the message of ryzarlian and my orders came I was in rhino territory heading to the artic north, I rode directly to here in a hurry”

The Minor Tribes HQ is being attacked by the Sabertooths again! They followed Master Petricoff there after he and his party found a Fire Wing Harness!" Lycor: "...Found a Fire Wing Harness, you say?" The Lion King walks down the stairs as the fox nods rapidly. Fox: "Yes, Your Majesty, it's currently floating down a river in our territory! The Sabertooths have been slowing its drift by creating glaciers." Lycor: "I see. Why didn't Petricoff contact the Lions for reinforcement?" Fox: "He figured you'd still be recovering from the massive Eagle Spire battle you were in not long ago...but I disagreed, and I got desperate. I thought surely there would be Lions able to fight!" He then reports this to his blind leader. Scorponok: "So, the last Harness has been located... Once Lycor gets it, that'll be all of the Fire Wings themselves, and we'll only be missing two Harness-bearers. Hopefully the Sabertooths and Icebears will continue to be held off in the West Sea, Minor Tribes HQ, and Crystal Crater, respectively, long enough for us to find the bearers and initiate the Illumination uninterrupted."

Especially Crystal Crater. I'm glad the Brotherhood forces I was able to spare were adequate. It seems this war is finally nearing its end..." Lycor goes straight to the Lion City hospital, after sending his Lions to tell his parents, Scorponok, and the present Harness-bearers of the events in the Minor Tribes lands and the Arctic. Lycor looks over the comatose sabertooth prisoner, Sabrin, no longer an "ice zombie". Lion Doctor: "His condition is stable, and we sedated him to prevent him from resisting the fire chi 'purification'. If you're here, Your Majesty, then I suppose that must mean..." Lycor: "Yes; we're going with 'that' plan. This is our opening, the only time we can--and should, do it." He recounts the happenings in the Arctic and the Iron Mountains that'd been reported to him, by way of explanation. Lion Doctor: "I see... Are you certain, Your Grace?" Lycor glances back at Sabrin, but seems to immediately regret it, jerking his gaze away. Lycor: "...Yes. It's the only course of action available to us." Lion Doctor: "Very well, Majesty. We'll begin at once." The Lions perform a surgery to finish "tending to Sabrin's wounds".

We'll begin at once." The Lions perform a surgery to finish "tending to Sabrin's wounds". After the operation, a mended Sabrin is taken in handcuffs to a landing pad on the castle. Sabrin: "Ugh...I feel...all wrong. Why'd you have to infect me with that fire chi?" Lion Doctor: "Reversing your Ice Hunter transformation made your treatment easier after that point; our instruments no longer froze automatically at your touch, nor did we need to continuously plug fire chi while operating on you. If you don't like having a normal mortal form like the rest of us, it won't last much longer; your Queen Mother will surely transform you back." Sabrin: "Lady Sabradia? So you are returning me to my tribe, truly? ...What's the catch?" Lion Doctor: "There is no 'catch'. His Majesty wishes to make peace with King Finglor and his few remaining pro-war Sabertooths. You're the only sabertooth prisoner taken by the Lions; your safe return will be the first peace offering. A fine start, wouldn't you say?" Sabrin: "Heh...good luck with that. If Lycor thinks His Grace will end the war just because the Lions displayed one rare act of mercy toward a sabertooth, he doesn't know King Finglor." The Lions stay silent after that as they load Sabrin onto the Twinblade, the doctor staying on the landing pad and watching the craft lift off.

Lycor sips wine as he watches the Twinblade return to Lion City from the north. The Lion King couldn't see the explosion in the Iron Mountains from here, but he was told about it immediately over the radio by the Lions stationed in that region.
Lycor: "One of two possible outcomes; you chose this, Finglor. It could've ended without a 'bang', but you made your choice, and now it's over..."
Word has already started to spread about the "Final Homecoming", as the Lions have taken to calling it, and throughout Lion City, citizens of Chima are celebrating the destruction of the last pro-war Ice Hunters and their base, and the restoration of the Elemental Balance.
Restored...for now. Lycor thinks, regarding the balance. But we still need to make it permanent...and make this peace permanent.
Meanwhile, the Vultures fly to the Bat embassy atop Cavora, telling Rex and the Bats about the events in the north and the Frigatebirds and Burrowing Owls' arrival to Chima. The Bats agree to host another Tribal Summit, as do the Lions when they tell them about this, and Lycor sends an invitation to someone in the Northern Outland Mountains...

Wearing the uniform of the Minor Tribe Forces, the healed Rhino Prince Rorik leads onward with his companions, the nomadic Scholar Eliaphet and one-half of the head advisors to the Beaver Tribe Byrum into the domain of the Lion Tribe. Having experienced the events of taking on the title of Harness Bearer, his childish inquisitive nature still remained while looking over the large stone statues depicting great Lion warriors. Byrum playfully elbows Eliaphet, sensing an opportunity to parade the artistic skill of Beaver Tribe.
"Eh, they learned from the best statue makers of course."

the various ET diplomats commanded by elina enter the former spy-base and current embasssy founded by lyranos in lion city awaiting the summit, with a large part of the units fortifying themselves in the fields around while the rest goes to rhino citadel The Bats and Lions prepare transports to fly the diplomats up to the embassy on Cavora. Lycor and Scorponok, representing the Lions and Stinger Brotherhood respectively, ride in the back of the same Lion Twinblade. The Headmaster confronts the Lion King on the way up. Scorponok: "Was this your doing, Lycor? The explosion of the Sabertooth royals and their stronghold?" Lycor: "So, you've heard about that. Yes. I had the doctors plant a bomb in the sabertooth prisoner, Sabrin, and delivered him to the royals." Scorponok: "That's... Did you even give them a chance to surrender?" Lycor: "Of course I did. I attempted to appeal to Finglor one last time with a letter. The pilot of the Twinblade that'd delivered Sabrin held a remote control for the bomb; it would've been used to permanently deactivate the bomb, had Finglor agreed to end the war. He must not have, seeing as the bomb detonated, meaning the royals must've refused my offer before plugging chi into Sabrin's harness, activating the bomb." Scorponok: "Still though... Sending them a prisoner with a white flag, only to use that prisoner as a living bomb to destroy them..." Lycor: "Tell me, Scorponok, how is this any worse than when you wiped out the hundreds of Forgotten spies in the Outlands? Surprised I know about that? I have connections all over Chima; comes with the territory of being a tribe leader." Scorponok: "That was...different. Those spies were all over our cities and destabilizing the already fragile peace we had there." Lycor: "And the comparatively tiny minority of pro-war Hunters were continuing to destabilize the peace--and Elemental Balance--in all of Chima, after the rest of us had moved on. Now tell me this, Scorponok: how is taking out around a hundred or less adversaries with a bomb any less honorable than slaying hundreds or thousands in battle?" Scorponok has no answer to that. They ride in silence until the scorpion says: "I suppose all that's left is the Great Illumination." Lycor: "I should hope so, though I've heard some strange things have happened in Eagle lands after our last battle with Galvanor..."

the various ET diplomats commanded by elina enter the former spy-base and current embasssy founded by lyranos in lion city awaiting the summit, with a large part of the units fortifying themselves in the fields around while the rest goes to rhino citadel The Bats and Lions prepare transports to fly the diplomats up to the embassy on Cavora. Lycor: "I should hope so, though I've heard some strange things have happened in Eagle lands after our last battle with Galvanor..." Approaching the gathering of tribe leaders, Rorik lowers his sword in a reverent manner, touching his facial horn in a form of salute.
"May it be, that we should charge forward with the strength of Cavora's springs in our hearts."
Eliaphet follows with a winged salute, with Byrum striking the ground with his rudder and finishing off with a toothy grin.

The Head Ambassador of the Bat embassy, surprisingly a raven, clears his throat once the tribe leaders and representatives have exchanged pleasantries. Rex: "All right, let's get down to business. While I'm sure we're all eager to discuss the Great Illumination, especially with all the Fire Wings I'm seeing in this room, I think we can agree that it's become significantly less urgent; what with the war finally being over and the Ice Hunters no longer disrupting the Elemental Balance by invading the south. Therefore, the most immediate concern is how to divide the Arctic territory, due to the awkward timing of the Eagle Triumvirate beginning to conquer it just before Queen Maulisa declared an end to the war and promised to remain in the north." Bliston: "Speaking of the Eagle Triumvirate, two of its member species are unfamiliar to Chima, having come from the west. The Bats met them briefly when letting them past our sea patrols recently, but it was just a glimpse, as we let them get on their way to bolster the war effort against the Hunters at the time. I believe a proper introduction is in order." ladymargaret
