I have a very strict color pallet on bricklink that I will order for my kids. They ain't getting nothing but light and dark tan, light and dark grey, white, burnt orange, and nougat.
What are they supposed to make with those colors?
Modern suburban interiors.
I can't believe I had the same awful signature for nearly 8 years. Sorry for disappearing for 2 months, life happened for a bit.
Really good question actually. I don't think I can say that there's a particular scifi movie that's my favorite. I really like Dune, that one's definitely up there. Also 2001 a space odyssey. And Jurassic Park of course.
The other ones that come to mind are R-rated and idk if the board rules are still "no discussion of media over pg-13".
Dune was good, I liked the sense of spectacle to it, and how they took their time. I hated 2001 Space Odyssey. You know my opinion on Jurassic Park.
Let's definitely assume the rules have stayed in place during our absence.
I think I'm gonna go start a movie review topic (as long as it gets approved by the mods), you should check it out.
Hated 2001? While I like it I can also see that, it's a bit of a weird movie.
I'll have to hunt it down.

I'll be honest I'm not really all that into them anymore. I still enjoy their older albums but Scaled and Icy really just didn't do it for me and I'm not too sold on the new singles either.
Agreed, PoTC soundtrack rules. Although, by saying "first" you're eliminating the absolute bop that is "Up is Down" from World's End.
I'm not as much anymore, but the competition as far as good new music goes is very low right now, so I'm hyped.
Oh, that song is incredible, but looking at the soundtracks as a whole I gotta go with Curse of the Black Pearl.
Unfortunately, not too many bands to be hyped for these days.
Fair enough, can't beat the classic.

Yes I did, Easter break too. Both were very fun breaks, I got to go places and do stuff with friends. Now I'm reaching the final few weeks of the semester and it feels like everything is happening this weekend: assignments due, martial arts belt test, and my friends are getting married.
That's good! Good luck with the belt test! Are you in the wedding party, or just attending?
Thanks! I got my blue belt and the wedding went well! I was only in attendance, but a lot of my close friends were in the wedding party, plus I knew a good 2/3 of the people there. I was a driver for small group of us in attendance.
(Indeed. Sometimes I gotta plan these things a week in advance. Never thought about it like that before, but once you reach the top, the view is gonna be spectacular. )
Hehe. If there's an Avatar 3, it needs to be italicized.
(Your scheduling sounds grueling, I just let me wife book me in for stuff. Unless you're afraid of heights.
Apparently they're making at least 5, so there's room to underline one even. Finding Friendships
(Hehe, it's not that bad. I just like to be prepared. Right, that includes me too. )
Nice. So we have normal font, bold font, italicized, underline, and I guess the last one is strikethrough?
About seven years ago, you and I met while I was still in my not-like-other-girls phase, where I wanted to reject anything slightly girly and stereotypically feminine, and at the time I sometimes had a hard time relating to your love for the classic Disney movies.
Last week I gave a ten-minute presentation at an undergraduate conference about the psychosocial effect of the classic Disney Princess films on children, where I argued for the positive and uplifting influence of Disney Princesses. The judges seemed engaged and complimented my argument and presentation.
I thought of you and missed you. I made that presentation partly because of you. I really hope you're doing well and thriving where you are.
Tigress you just straight up made me cry <3 I didn't know I needed to hear something like that right now. To know I made an impact on someone in that way even after not showing my face for a while (or ever, really ig) is so special.
Overall I'm doing great actually. I'm at a weird spot in life. Just graduated college two weekends ago, so I'm still trying to figure out where to start moving forward from here while keeping all the important people in my life, and figuring out who some of those are. I've been thinking about this place though, I should come back for a while. :3
That presentation sounds great, btw. I'd have been in the front row cheering. Finding Friendships
