Well lego indy came out around the time that crystal skull did, so it makes sense. Sadly they were never sold in my country. It is still my dream to get the Temple Of the crystal skull set new and unopened. Although that is becoming increasingly harder, rn that set brand new is around the 300$ mark. It did, that's why it came out. LEGO only adds LEGO themes when a new movie comes out generally. They released the first wave, mostly consisting of Raiders sets, before KotCS came out, and then the KotCS sets when it was about to come out. I own The Temple of the Crystal Skull, great set, lots of fun back in the day to play with:D! Why do you need it unopened? You're just gonna open it:S. I would NEVER pay 2x-5x the price just so I can enjoy opening a box:S. There is a certain excitement to opening an unopened set, especially one that is 8 years old. I like to build the sets.

I liked the third one. It belongs in a museum (and a DVD/VCR player). I liked the part where Indy's dad slaps him for being blasphemous :3 I also think it had some of the most clever temple traps and battle sequences in the series. Not as iconic as the boulder chase -- but not a step backward either. I swear if Disney tries to do an Indiana Jones cash-grab reboot/continuation I will root for the bad guys On the bright side... Harrison Ford seems like to kind of guy who wouldn't participate in such nonsense. And since a continuation attempt has already been done, the chance of it happening is even lower May lens-flare and modern filming techniques leave this most sacred of movie series untouched... amen.

I have the full collection on Blu-Ray. They are all worth watching except maybe the fourth one, which is terrible IMO.

In my experience any LucasFilm movie Harrison Ford was in is good unless he dies in it. Therefore, I suspect I won't hate the Crystal Skull

Lens flare? Have you even watched the Indy films? They have most lens flare I've ever seen... Second to only all Michael Bay films. Though I admit, lens flare is dreadful.

What is your favorite Indiana Jones movie? This is a topic where you can share your favorite Indy movie and say why you like it the best! My favorite is definitely The Raiders of the Lost Ark. I tend to like the originals the most for most movie series. Not to mention the Nazis are my favorite Indy villain. The Last Crusade is good too, and is a close second, but I got to say I just like the first one a little more:). Can't wait to hear what everybody else thinks! I haven't seen The Last Crusade or Kingdom of the Crystal Skull yet, although I will watch The Last Crusade soon and don't want to watch Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. So, out of the ones I've seen, Raiders of the Lost Ark wins by a mile. This is mainly because of the gross-out scenes in The Temple of Doom. The feast in the palace was disgusting, and the room with all the bugs was just creepy. I can do snakes a lot better than bugs as far as yucky scenes go. (Except the snakes in Temple of Doom. That was just flat-out disturbing.) Raiders of the Lost Ark was, however, unnecessarily graphic in my opinion. According to IMDb, the face-melting scene almost gave the movie an R-rating. Remember, back in those days there was no PG-13. But other than that, it was a great movie. The villains were good and met a fitting (although painful and terrifying) end. As a Christian, I do disagree with the portrayal of the Ark of the Covenant, but that doesn't really tarnish the movie. You have to admit, the desert chase was pretty cool. Who do you think met a worse fate? Was it Belloq, Major Toht, Colonel Dietrich, or the German mechanic/boxer? My vote goes for Toht. His was the most graphic. I must also say I agree with LegoBuilder "As a Christian, I do disagree with the portrayal of the Ark of the Covenant..."

Raiders is probably objectively the best, but I'll always enjoy The Last Crusade for Sean Connery's performance. I found Temple of Doom to be a bit over the top (as well as really just an inferior homage to Gunga Din), and I don't think I have a lot new to say about the latest one. :{P

The Last Crusade just a classic. I lost count on how many times I have watched it.
