Indeed. Talk about revolutionizing the Disney Princess formula.
YES. IT IS. I agree with you 100%. O_Õ That's all right. Well. . . I suppose sharing some of the same interests I have would do something, but honestly I think that goes for everyone. I haven't had many people able to persuade me to lower some of the barriers, so to speak, so let me think. . . . . . I think it takes being open and honest, and someone who's not afraid to speak their mind -- as well as someone who can understand introvert-language and give me space and silence when I need it. I think. . . I think I like people who care about others. I appreciate it when someone lets me be myself and doesn't try to preach at me like I'm in church. Man, I don't know if that makes a lot of sense -- and honestly, I'm still a little confused about it -- but hopefully this explanation will do.
Cool and icily sarcastic, and yet fiery and viciously ambitious at the same time.
Well, you did say Disney character, not just TLK. . . UUGGHHHHIDON'TKNOW.
XD Rafiki is pretty great. One of my favorite lines he says is; "Can't cut it out! It'll grow right back!"
The funny and slightly scary thing is, I could actually enjoy a princess like that.
There's the whole "worrying about your voice tone" thing, and standing awkwardly with your arms crossed, and you don't have to worry about any of that on a screen.
That's a very good point. Maybe fellow introverts can get together and help each other to be extroverts? Question: if everyone, even people closest to you, know you as a shy introvert, how do you think you could work to change that reputation without completely confusing them all? Sorry if that makes no sense at all.
A dangerous combination for a perfect villain.
Well, yeah but if she's your favorite TLK character, she should already be higher on the list than him... Okay it doesn't really matter I'm thinking about this way too much. They're both awesome, leave it at that.
Haha, that one's great. XD I particularly love the part where he keeps following Simba around, and once he finally has his attention, Rafiki is just like, "Bye!" and runs off. *innocent face* XD
I know I've definitely enjoyed those kind of princesses in other fandoms. Maybe a little too much. . .
Exactly; I could be talking to you while in bed wearing my skimpy PJs and no one would be the wiser -- much less care.
HA! Good luck with that. What, you mean. . . try to change myself? To an -- an-- *shudder* --an extrovert?? No way, sister. I wouldn't play that game at all. I would never want to change the way I am, and I don't think I could succeed without wanting to smash myself to end my misery. Being around people sucks the life out of me, and they're a very untrustworthy, cruel, and unfeeling sort of creature. There are some things about me that I couldn't change if I tried -- things that make me inherently different and an oddball -- and it would tear me apart if I tried to be like everyone else. Sorry to make it sound so dramatic and cataclysmic, but that's just the way I see it.
Ah, Scar. . . so few others who walk as you do can match your beautiful cruelty and icy charisma.
Sounds good.
Yesssss. . . XD I wonder. . . before he realized Simba was alive, had Rafiki been hanging around in that big tree the whole time since, or was he out and about doing crazy monkey stuff?

Maybe we both have a secret evil side... Speaking of which, have you ever taken a quiz to find out which Disney villain you are?
Yeah, sounds like 90% of my posting time. Like right now.
"The more you like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique." ~Walt Disney
I understand. I can't say I exactly relate, but I definitely understand. If people make you uncomfortable, it can often be tiring to be around them -- I myself love the idea of much social interaction, but actually doing it is another thing.
If you take "others who walk as you do" literally, that leaves us with only Shere Khan and Zira and a few others...But none, animal or human, can quite compare to him. Not even Maleficent, the so-called "Mistress of All Evil."
This is an interesting question, actually. I'd imagine he didn't visit the Pride Lands so much anymore since Scar was on the throne and the place was in ruins...I think he was mostly isolated in his tree doing crazy monkey stuff. Also, how did he know where to find Simba? Sure, he knew he was alive, but did he have a GPS or something with him?

I have indeed. I couldn't remember what I got, though, so I took two different tests just now -- I got Scar and Mother Gothel. I assume you've taken a test like that?
Nice. What color are they?
I think I can understand that. I admit at times I wish I could enjoy going out and doing things with people, but when I try. . . well. . . I don't leave with a smile on my face, I'll tell you that. So you're just a little shy?
No, indeed. Amen to that.
That makes sense -- he probably has other hobbies than throwing fruit juice on lion cubs he holds up over a bunch of animals. That is a good point! Hmm. . . well, he seems like a plant master; maybe he recognized the flowers he caught in the breeze that he used to identify Simba's scent, and he knew where those kind of flowers lived.

Why look here friend, changing is as easy as taking your first step!
Put one foot in front of the other and soon you'll be walking 'cross the floor.
Just put one foot in front of the other and soon you'll be walking out the door!
You never will get where you're goin'
If you never get up on your feet.
Come on there's a good tailwind blowin'
A fast walkin' man is hard to beat.
If you want to change your direction
Or if your time of life is at hand
Well don't be the rule, be the exception!
A good way to start is to stand.
If you want to change the reflection
You see in the mirror each morn,
I mean that it's just your election
To vote for a chance to be reborn!

Okay, that's super weird...because my friend and I got those villains on a quiz, and for the last ten months we've obsessively been calling each other Scar and Gothel as nicknames. As far as I can remember, every single time I've ever taken a villain quiz I've gotten Scar. The consistency is kind of frightening.Of course, it's not as bad as that time my friend and I took a TLK quiz and got Scar and Mufasa... xD
Well, last night, a light pink top and light purple pants, both with cats on them.
I'm more than a little shy, actually. I'm just very awkward a lot of the time, so it takes a while for me to warm up to new people.
Have you ever seen the animated blooper of where -- *chuckle* -- Rafiki drops Simba before he holds him up? That's a good theory. It makes more sense than what I was thinking, which was that maybe he could track the scent like a dog -- even though he's a monkey, not a bloodhound...I don't know.
{JAMMERS! -Bun- ONLY!} Crazy... Must be ProBoards playing up again. Strange... I had assumed your parents were like you, yet that's not the case. Thinking aloud: perhaps they are afraid that you should be cautious of the world..? I'm not sure, but I don't think they realise what a gift your personality is. I see nothing wrong with being energetic and outgoing, and it is a shame you can't let it shine in your own home. Do you have friends alike?
Oh, sor-
(I wish I had a quote response handy. ) I love that one! Y'know Phil Collins really did a good job on those 90's films.
Yeah. I just finished the Frozen on Broadway soundtrack, and I love it! I liked how they upgraded lyrics to existing songs, all the while making new ones. I like how they rendered "What Do You Know About Love?", and new songs for the characters like "Kristoff Lullaby" and "Hans of the Southern Isles" to which I really think should have been in the original film. *Writes those down* How can there be so much I do not know?
*Phew!* Thank you. Sorry, it's just that I worry a lot when it comes to socialising... Indeed, though I don't want to burden her with any more troubles... Do you think trying to fix it is a bad idea? They're thin-framed sports glasses that broke at the nose. I can't wait! (^v^) When was the release date again...? You really love TLK. It'll be awesome! And interesting to see how it compares to the original.
You must, if you haven't seen it 10 million times like me.
Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner. The Wi-Fi in my room has decided to be practically nonexistent as of late.
Yasss. Heh, it's confusing.
Well, normally it wouldn't have started quite yet, but we only got like one week of spring weather before blasting into summer heat. This year? So far, I think maybe... 90o (F)? It was pretty hot today, and is supposed to be 98o later this week. So is it starting winter for you guys down there? *looks down the globe curiously*
{JAMMERS! -Rome- ONLY!} No, we're usually pretty opposite about everything. Well, yes, they are actually.
...wow...um...that's a really sweet thing to say. *pauses to compose self* I'm emotional now. Sorry.
My best friend is also an introvert, though she can at times be crazier than me -- and I have a heightened sense of self-confidence being around a friend, which is an element I sometimes lack.
Enough about me and my problems of self-discipline. ...I've noticed most of your quotes in the QAACC are...well, usually somewhat sad...do you choose quotes that you can personally relate to? I don't mean to pry, though.
Yeah. The Tarzan songs are all really great, too. I still need to listen to most of the Frozen on Broadway soundtrack...oops... How about I listen to Frozen while you listen to The Lion King? Deal? Ha, perfect reference!!
Same, you have no idea. But there are times when I get in a certain mood and I just don't care what anyone thinks of me...I relish those moments.
Hmm. Can you perhaps take a thin piece of duck tape the same color of the frame, and wrap it around the broken part?
For Frozen 2? Ehh...I have no idea, actually. Sometime in 2019. Yep, I'm fully obsessed, but you're...realizing that...just now? You'd say that even more if you saw my bedroom...*chuckles*
Actually, I haven't. I haven't seen it in a long time, and only remember some of the plot because I brush up on all my Disney frequently. If we were going off of knowledge that I know from actually watching the movies recently, I probably...wouldn't know a lot about a lot of movies.
That's alright. It's always annoying when the internet decides to play up, which for me is every time someone wants to use the landline. How've you been, Bun?
That's the same with Summer down here! Except instead of Autumn it just keeps going. Wow, that's way hotter than here! Most it's been where I am is 86o(F). Yep, Winter's finally kicking in down here! It hasn't been too cold, but there's snow on the mountains! Hopefully we'll get a full Winter this time.
{JAMMERS! -Bun- ONLY!} Same sort of situation with my parents. You'd think after all those Disney films I'd be brave enough to stand up to my parents.
No need to be sorry, Bun. Your emotion is indeed a sign of strength.
It's good that you have friends that you can be relaxed around. I've often wondered what having a true friend in real life is like, but I'm glad I was lucky enough to meet all the wonderful friends I have here.
Oh, the quotes... yeah, I thought I was being too depressing. To tell you the truth, I do relate to most of the quotes I post there. You might say they're little pieces of me, scattered in words, to which I have shed a tear at some. I've also noticed that your new signature is rather melancholy. Perhaps there's a story behind that?
Yeah! That's alright - you can avoid "Hygge" though, just to warn you. Fair deal! *Shakes your hand enthusiastically* Yes! Pocahontas is up next on my watch-list!
Oh, I wish I could do that! Perhaps you have some advice..?
I tried that, but the pieces are just too thin. Perhaps some heavy-duty glue..?
Too far awaaaaayyy! I relised it around when we first met, but I'm just remarking on your tenacious enthusiasm. I can imagine shelves full of memorabilia and merchandise...
That's fine. Still, your knowledge far surpasses mine!
Also, I've been wondering: what makes something Disney? Like if you have a company producing film & television in partnership with Disney, does that make it Disney?
I know I've definitely enjoyed those kind of princesses in other fandoms. Maybe a little too much. . .

Oh, my. o.O Maybe I'm a mix of you and your friend. XD Personally I think I'm more like Scar -- I don't know what that other test was thinking. XD
That sounds cute.
That's me right there, honestly. I just haven't been able to really learn how to socialize comfortably -- I typically fake it.
No. *looks it up* Ha ha, now I have. That's funny. XD I have seen a vine in which Rafiki throws Simba. There -- I can just imagine Rafiki scurrying about with his large nose to the ground, sniffing loudly, licking and spitting out dirt, and huffing and growling as a bloodhound would. Come on, boy, where's the kitty?? Go git the kitty-cat!
Because I'm content with the way I am and trying to be an extrovert would smash me.
But are you content with your flesh or who your Father made you to be? I hate to bother you or even move you with any of my deep thinking here. However, I noticed that you struggle with problems of the flesh and I'm wondering how one can be content with that. It boggles my mind; my mind is quizically boggled.

Ugh. My room is the farthest away from the router, so it doesn't like to work.
Pretty great! I've had an exciting week, we went somewhere out of town almost every day. Now this week I gotta try to wrap up all my schoolwork... How have you been?
Maybe it'll make its way from the mountains gradually down to where you live. Assuming you don't live on a mountain. You like winter, then?
{JAMMERS! -Rome- ONLY!} Same. I have been able to loosen up a bit more the last year or two, and just realize that hey, they have to live with me -- might as well learn to like my crazy side.
You wonder what... It is very good that you have so many close friends here.
It's not depressing, just...most of the ones I decide to post turn out to be all optimistic and cheery ones, which I didn't even do on purpose. That's really cool. Maybe if you pieced together all the quotes into a story, or a poem, it would describe you very well...? Haha, oh, that. It's actually the last lyric of "After Today" from A Goofy Movie, which is the best last-day-of-school song ever. But since I do still have a bit more school, I went with the feeling of wanting to be done already and all that.
Well, now I just want to listen to it because I'm curious. If we're mentioning songs that you may-or-may-not-want-to-avoid, might I recommend "The Madness of King Scar." Just a warning. *Shakes your hand wildly* Cool! That's one of my favorites.
Hmm. I wish I had advice for myself. Just don't try to change too much at once? It takes a lot to adjust the boundaries of your comfort zone, so maybe it's best to work on separate little things at a time to help yourself relax.
That might work. Or maybe the glue and tape together?
Yep, I have two shelves dedicated to TLK and other African decor -- then again I also just like African animals and culture. And also a decal on the wall above my bed of a TLK quote.
You don't give yourself enough credit; you've impressed me more than once with your Disney knowledge.
Interesting question. I guess people have different opinions. But I'd say if it's bought by Disney or only partly produced by them, it's semi-Disney?
Oh, my. o.O Maybe I'm a mix of you and your friend.
I think so, too. Well, we have two Scars here, then. This could be interesting. We both just kind of laughed, and then the laughter gradually died down and we were like, "Eheheh...that's super weird actually..."
Yeah, cause KITTIES.
Yep. And while faking it, I still do stupid stuff and embarrass myself. Ah well.
His scream when he trips is the most hilarious thing... Ohhh yes, I just saw that for the first time last night!! It freaked me out at first, honestly, I was just like "Wow...that's gonna haunt me for a long time..." But it's hilarious too. And it's actually kinda funny, because I've often thought about how creepy Rafiki could actually be if he were a villain... Haha yes, I can so see that happening now. XD

We could sing another duet of "Be Prepared". XD Cue awkward silence. . .
KITTIES.
SAME. HERE. Ah, well, people don't typically like me, anyway.
XD Weee, there goes Simba! Mufasa would not be pleased. *gasp* That WOULD be creepy!! O_O Maybe he could have an evil twin. . .

Ah, the joys of Wi-Fi. Cool! Good luck with finishing your schoolwork! I've also been good. Just found out the day before that the annual NZ Brick-Con was on last Saturday, thanks to my brother. So I spent the day out with my mum and brother, which was a very nice day indeed. Heh, not on a mountain, but fairly close to one. Yeah! Winter's my favourite season, if not late Autumn. What's your favourite season?
{JAMMERS! -Bun- ONLY!} "Go, live your dream." Strange, you don't seem crazy, unless I haven't witnessed your "crazy side" yet?
Oh, forgive me, I keep forgetting how strange that must sound. I'm just so used to it that it's the norm for me. Yeah. Before now I never thought I'd make friends, so I'm more thankful than I can say for my friends here. Thank you, Bun, for your kind friendship.
Well, cheery is better than grim, isn't it? Really? Well, I'm not too good with words... You, however, seem to have a knack for poems. The latest one you posted is very inspiring. Oh, it's a school holiday song. That makes more sense.
Well, if you're a die-hard... It's just, very... long. That sounds like a good one to avoid. Does it live up to its title? *Is out-shaken* Yeah, the ending still gets me, and definitely ranks in my top 3 Disney endings.
So, change one step at a time... Thank you for your advice, because sometimes I foolishly take on too much at once; an unfortunate trait of mine, all the more difficult because I'm not awfully susceptible to change.
Double-strength - I love it.
Okay, I wasn't expecting that much. It sounds like an awesome room though! Do you have TLK posters?
"You flatter me, Captain." ~ Mr. Arrow (Treasure Planet) But I guess a true fan would know a lot about the man himself, or have gone to Disneyland... World... Disneyland and Disney World are two different places, right?
Semi-Disney.... I was wondering because I wasn't sure whether film giant's films like Marvel's would be called Disney films or not. However an interesting thing is that the Marvel character Shuri is apparently a Disney Princess.
