I've realized there are a LOT of Disney fan theories floating around, including some I've come up with in my own crazy mind.
With so many easter eggs in Disney movies, there's endless possibilities of what movies are connected to each other, and how, and why. So I thought, why not create a topic to discuss all these theories?
Feel free to share any ideas and theories you have, just please don't start a war with anyone who may have a theory you don't like. I promise to try not to do this.

You DON'T promise not to do that!?!? *prepares for war*

Ohhh. Worded that wrong.
I promise to try not to start a war with anyone who has a theory I don't like.
In Disney Junior's Sofia the First, everyone lives in the Tri-Kingdom Area. In Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb, everyone lives in the Tri-State Area. In Disney Pixar's Toy Story, everyone lives in the Tri-County Area.
Clearly something's going on with this Tri-[Cartographic area] Area, although I have no idea what.

Ah, interesting. *puts nerd glasses on*
In Zootopia, Judy's dad mentions that the rabbits live in the Tri-Burrows, so there's that one also.
Maybe it's actually a dodec-area, made up of twelve. Or maybe it's actually just one Tri-[Area], but the movies' worlds are separated by different dimensions, so, although they all actually live in the same Tri-[Area], it appears to the characters that it's only them living there.
I should have put a disclaimer in this topic about the randomness that would soon ensue from theorizing...

I'm not sure if this is a coincidence since Toy Story was made before Disney bought Pixar... I'm not sure if they actually bought Pixar but I can't remember.
Does Marvel and Star Wars count? Or are they excluded?
Uhhh...well, I'd say Star Wars doesn't, just because there's already a SW board for discussion about all that. But since there's no Marvel forum, I guess it's only fair to allow discussions of that here. Just don't expect me to be super knowledgeable about the subject.
I'm sure you've all seen Rapunzel's appearance at Elsa's coronation in Frozen. Any thoughts on that?
My opinion is that maybe all the Princess movies are set in the same world, (ideally that's my theory for all of Disney, I love the idea that every movie is connected ) so Rapunzel just decided to give her friend a visit... Some people think they're cousins, which I guess could be true, but it's kind of strange considering Anna and Elsa are Norwegian while Rapunzel is German. So, I don't really think so.

Lol. *Pulls out a large bulletin board and starts pinning down maps and strings connecting them.*
Wow. I didn't catch that one from Zootopia.
Hmm, I like the idea of the same Tri-[Area] better. I'm thinking that perhaps the Tri-Burrows are inside the Tri-County inside the Tri-State and inside the Tri-Kingdom.

I'd agree that the Disney Princesses are connected in some way, especially since they are also connected through Descendants and Sofia the First.
I've heard from others online that perhaps Anna and Elsa's parents were on a ship going to visit Rapunzel's wedding, but then their ship sunk and their parents were pronounced dead. Then when Arendelle's gates opened up for the first time in forever, Rapunzel and Flynn went to visit.

I think it might have been in Toy Story 3 when it was revealed they live in the Tri-County Area.

The tri thing is a thing TV shows usually do. Since they can't decide what state/City/province the characters to live in.

I've heard that theory, too. It's also connected with the idea that Anna and Elsa's parents survived the shipwreck, made it to a jungle in Africa, and had a baby boy who was later named Tarzan.
Just gonna be honest, I don't like that theory. I don't see much resemblance between the king and queen and Tarzan's parents, so I don't see any reason to believe it. Plus Tarzan is set much later in time than Frozen is. But I guess it's an interesting idea.
