IC: Stannis: "We can show our inland-born and sky-born friends the safest route to Crystal Crater from here; we Outland natives are the best guides to this place there'll ever be. Plus, now that we have fire chi, we can selectively burn those pesky predator plants without worrying about starting a whole forest fire."
Scarabus: "Indeed, however there's one more part to this plan to round it out. Pardon the security measures."
The Scorpion Praetor's guards look back and forth in the hallway/tunnel before tightly closing the doors into the war room cave. Scarabus unplugs the chi from the radios in the room.
{JAMMERS! -Scorpions & Phoenix- ONLY!} Scarabus: "I will take my portion of the Republic/Scorpion Army right up beneath the Icebears' HQ using the old tunnels that connect from near Black Fang Mountain all the way to the former Cavern Castle. The Icebears think the tunnels are caved-in; they're half right. Once we get to the former cavern, we'll need to start digging. If we do this right, however, the Ice Hunters won't detect my force's presence until we're holding their leaders at stinger point.
You see, Consul Craunus Maximus is going to be arriving here with the portion of the army currently under him. The Hunters won't know that the Republic/Scorpion Army is split up, and to drive the point home even further, I've had a recreation of my armor forged, to be worn by a lookalike General; he will be my Phantom... as far as the Ice Hunters will know, he'll be Praetor Scarabus, commanding the full force of the Scorpion Tribe above ground with Maximus."
Craunus Maximus arrives, adding his scorpions to the force, and is recapped on the plan.
*Continues.*
The armies here are organized:
The sky bound portion of the assault is comprised of the Stinger Brotherhood and Phoenix air forces, led by Silas and Winslow, respectively. They'll assist in the safe passage through the Outland jungle, and are to hold back during the start of the battle, until the Icebears' anti-air turrets are seized or destroyed.
The Republic / Scorpion Army is commanded by Craunus Maximus, and serves as the front-line attackers, to lead the charge with their many Stinger Tanks.
The Spider Army is led by Stannis Rax, and will be right behind Maximus' force on the ground, thus protecting their Spider Walkers as they web up the Icebears' turrets with their long-range launchers.
The present Gorilla soldiers are put under the command of Scarabus, to bring up the rear of the attack force, also serving to protect the Spider Walkers if the Ice Hunters try to come around and hit them from behind.
{JAMMERS! -Scorpions & Phoenix- ONLY!} The "Scarabus" leading the Gorillas is the Praetor's Phantom. The real Scarabus, meanwhile, takes a little over a third of the Scorpion Army into the old Aperture tunnels that have entrances near Black Fang Mountain (which had been known only to the Bats and Scorpions during the days of the Crawler Empire), to carry out Operation Phantom Strike.

Loud horns blare from the jungle north-west of the mountain, and any sentinels posted in that area by Unichi report a large army approaching. Shortly afterwards, a huge column of soldiers pours out of the foliage and moves towards Black Fang Mountain, the banners of the Gorilla Republic and Unichi flapping in the wind.
On either side, ranks of mechs and landcruisers file out the trees, escorting between them a large army of infrantry, with speedorz at the front and at the rear. The Gorillas appear tired from a long march with little rest, and as they move onto open ground it quickly becomes evident that most of their support vehicles - along with the food, Chi and other supplies they were carrying - are missing, as is the large air force that took part in the Battle of Lion City. However, most of the warriors seem to have made in it one piece, and their speed picks up as they see their destination ahead.

The leaders welcome the new arrivals at the foot of the mountain.
Craunus Maximus after greeting the Gorillas: "Excellent, more reinforcements. The Gorillas can bring up the rear of the attack force, to protect the Spider Stalkers' backside."

Phoenix King: "When will we begin the attack?"
OOC: I'm actually kinda trying to stall right now. The battle of Lion City is taking a long time since Shamrock isn't able to be very active, so I don't want to overwhelm him and make the battles take even longer by having both the battle of Lion City and the battle of Crystal Crater happen at the same time.

"Well met, Praetor," calls Gorvan as he leaps down from his mech. "I must apologise for our delayed arrival - the Iron Mountains were inclement, to put it mildly, and our airforce and rearguard sustained heavy losses on the journey. The bulk of my main force is undamaged however."

OOC: Sorry about that. On the bright side, I'm only one or two more posts away from finishing up at Lion City, so we should be finished there before too long.

OOC: Technically Craunus is the Consul.
IC: Unichi technicians in Black Fang Mountain's hangar start repairing any of the Gorillas' present vehicles that may have been damaged in the Iron Mountains.

OOC: Darn.
IC: The Gorillas do their best to help by bringing the damaged vehicles to the front, but most of the soldiers are exhausted by the prolonged march and head to the barracks to catch some sleep.

Around the time the Gorillas finish resting, the Chima Alliance Bears Lycor had commanded at Eagle Spire arrive, having been sent here by the Alliance to aid in the battle. They are added to the attack force, put under the command of Scorpion Praetor Scarabus.
At last, the allied forces march; the Scorpion Army in front with its shields and Stinger Tanks, led by Consul Craunus Maximus, the small but mighty force of Bears just behind them, led by Praetor Scarabus, the Spider and Forgotten armies in the middle, led by King Stannis Rax and surrounding their many Spider Stalker mechs, and the Gorilla Army, led by President Gorvan, bringing up the rear, with an emphasis on protecting the Spider Stalkers.
In the skies, the Stinger Brotherhood and Phoenix air forces, led by Captain Silas and King Winslow, respectively, soar high above, to keep out of reach for the time being, until their allies on the ground have stopped the Icebears' turrets from being a hindrance.
