The fresh fire chi begins to be distributed to the Unichi troops as the newly arrived Phoenix and Stinger Brotherhood forces are let into the hangar. Meanwhile, Scarabus arrives in a Stinger-Copter, and disembarks. Calloran fills him in on the new developments, before getting into the copter.
Calloran: "I'm afraid I must take my leave now, but rest assured that Praetor Scarabus is an excellent general. He will help you plan the assault. My place is with politics."
Scarabus: "You flatter me, Consul!"
Scorponok's Supreme Commander approaches.
Silas: "I am former Dr. Silas. You may remember me from the Science Division in the old days, and from the Uprising, though when we met, you had your face covered by that Praetorian Guard helmet."
Scarabus: "Oh right. Allow me to properly introduce myself as Praetor Scarabus. Weren't you Scorponok's spy within Aperture?"
Silas: "Indeed, though unfortunately I was ousted by Scortica before I could stop his plan. I feel as though, in a way, retaking the area of the former Cavern Castle will be a... redemption of sorts for me. But of course, I'm mainly here to finally get those ice zombies out of our homeland for good."
Scarabus: "Heh. I couldn't agree more!"
The two scorpions shake claws.
Hello, I'm Winslow. King of the Phoenix tribe. Shall we begin our attack?
Scarabus: "More allies may yet arrive. Let's start planning the assault. This certainly isn't a battle we can rush into."
Scarabus, Silas, and Stannis meet with Winslow in the war room cave.
Winslow: As do I. *Opens picnic basket.* Would you like a sandwich?
Stannis: "Don't mind if I do, good sir!"
Scarabus: "Alright, but let's keep planning the assault while we eat."
The leaders have lunch at the meeting table.
*Passes out all sorts of sandwiches.* I say we should blitz them with Fire Chi bombs from every side. Then, we should have soldiers ambush the Ice Hunters as they try to retreat. Would you like some more mac and cheese?

OOC: Where did the cheese come from?
IC: Silas: "With all due respect, Your Highness, that's a bit on the reckless side. As much as I'd like to be able to surround them from all sides, the Ice Hunters could easily take advantage of that and surround our split-up forces. They wouldn't be able to freeze us thanks to the fire chi, but they could keep our ground forces far apart from one another and unable to re-coordinate. As for our air forces, while they, too, couldn't be frozen, I've heard the Hunters stole inland technology during the Battle of Minor Tribes HQ, so they've likely developed turrets that use missiles by now."
Scarabus: "Indeed. We have no choice but to launch a united frontal assault as one army. Don't split up, and don't fly the aircraft down low where they'll be in range of the Icebears' turrets. However, we can still take your bombing suggestion, King Winslow, and drop fire chi bombs from a safe distance; they won't be able to stop all of them from coming down. Our ground forces will need to focus on breaking through the walls, which shouldn't take too long if we have fire chi and we're all hitting the walls with our full force. The Spiders, especially with their walkers, can web up the Icebears' turrets from a distance; even if the Hunters see it happening and freeze the webs midair, the webs will still reach their targets and encase the missile barrels if they're aimed well."
Stannis: "Oh, we've perfected our web aiming by now, I can attest to that."
Scarabus: "Good, then we'll move in with fire chi grenades to be rid of as many turrets as we can while they're incapacitated. Once all the turrets, at least in the front (west) half of their HQ are webbed up or destroyed, the Stinger-Copters and Phoenix aircraft will be able to fly low for more precise bombing, and a laser barrage on the HQ's buildings. Aim for the windows and doors especially, so we arachnids can crawl in, with the bombing scattering the enemy forces outside who'll try to stop us; our Stinger Tanks and Spider Walkers will also keep them occupied while as many on-foot arachnids as possible storm the buildings. Some phoenix should also fly in to light 'em up from inside."

IC: Stannis: "We can show our inland-born and sky-born friends the safest route to Crystal Crater from here; we Outland natives are the best guides to this place there'll ever be. Plus, now that we have fire chi, we can selectively burn those pesky predator plants without worrying about starting a whole forest fire."
Scarabus: "Indeed, however there's one more part to this plan to round it out. Pardon the security measures."
The Scorpion Praetor's guards look back and forth in the hallway/tunnel before tightly closing the doors into the war room cave. Scarabus unplugs the chi from the radios in the room.
{JAMMERS! -Scorpions & Phoenix- ONLY!} Scarabus: "I will take my portion of the Republic/Scorpion Army right up beneath the Icebears' HQ using the old tunnels that connect from near Black Fang Mountain all the way to the former Cavern Castle. The Icebears think the tunnels are caved-in; they're half right. Once we get to the former cavern, we'll need to start digging. If we do this right, however, the Ice Hunters won't detect my force's presence until we're holding their leaders at stinger point.
You see, Consul Craunus Maximus is going to be arriving here with the portion of the army currently under him. The Hunters won't know that the Republic/Scorpion Army is split up, and to drive the point home even further, I've had a recreation of my armor forged, to be worn by a lookalike General; he will be my Phantom... as far as the Ice Hunters will know, he'll be Praetor Scarabus, commanding the full force of the Scorpion Tribe above ground with Maximus."

Yeah, you're right about that. That's a good gameplan right there! OOC: I have no idea.
