Hello Kllyann! To answer your questions.... 1) Yes, we are aware of some of the other atempts to try this. Perhaps not every single one out there, but we are well aware of a few different groups. 2) We are actually going to try and keep these as close to the original LMBs as possible. While we can't use the official assets from the original LEGO site everything else including the rules we wish to have remain the same. A friendly , child friendly website that anyone of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy! (Also spam control, probably. ) And actually I understand COMPLETELY what you mean in regards to this now just being another fan site rather than official. I feel the same way in some ways. But, one thing that I hope to preserve is the one thing that kinda set LEGO.com out from the rest for me; it's clean atmosphere. Not many other websites out there really promote a safe environment that is moderated to ensure strictly that only family friendly content is allowed. There are some places that are generally nice in atmosphere, though I greatly respected the amount of effort LEGO Went to to put out a safe platform for children around the world to connect with each other over a common interest. So for that, I really hope to honestly the pure intent of the LMBs by continuing it here. 1. Yeah, I was mainly talking about JJ's forum. Starting to like this one better, though, since there has been some, err, questionable content there. 2. Yeah, making it look exactly the same would have been just a big fat lie anyways. On the subject of the assets, I really like the emotes you have been designing. Could be a bit smaller, though. Thank you for understanding; That was the one thing I liked the most about the boards: That LEGO spent the time and resources to make a site where Fans of all ages could come and chat, make friendships, and generally "LEg GOdt" (meaning "Play Well" in Danish).

You're an adult? Also, I know Keplers isn't an adult, and I am pretty sure astro"KID" isn't an adult either:P. If you are going to have moderated avatars, why not just do it so they stay the same until they are moderated? It is just VERY confusing, especially for new users, to have to send the moderators the picture, get approval, and then update their avatar. If you really want moderated avatars, you NEED to find a way to do it that way. Define adult For the record, this has been my account name for years. I prefer not to change it within the LMBs. I feel the exact same way about my username, even though everyone tends to think I am a girl. Or maybe I'm just making that up.

Any chance I could get a job on the staff? An application post will go up in the next week detailing what you need to do to apply for a position as a member of our staff. Where will it be?

Don't you think we could get in trouble for calling our site "LEGO" Message Boards, and using their banners? What if we called our site "Brick Message Boards".

Avatars will stay exactly as they were when you submit one via PM to an admin. Administrators will take care of updating it. All a user has to do it send it to an admin. Okay, so I guess the function to change avatars has been disabled.

As we have recently updated our avatar guidelines we now require that all users send their avatars to either myself or Keplers for moderation before we will add them to your profiles. As Keplers is currently on holiday I suggest you send it my way. How do you "send" an avatar:S? Not to mention it's a pain having to wait for one of you to respond to change it. Personally I think we should just delete avatars if they are bad. Everybody here was on the LMBs and would not break rules, our judgement is as good as yours. You need to give some trust;). After all, even you guys are LMB users and kids just like us. Well, not me, I am an adult now, but you get the point:P. I am confused by this concept as well.
