Doesn't look like GOTG Vol. 2 will smash records here in my country, which is a big shock to me imo. It's an MCU movie released in summer and GOTG has become well known because of the first film. Now it looks like it will only do as much as the first or as much as most MCU spin-off movies do. Now the highest-grossing filmn of this year in my country will either be Beauty and the Beast or Justice League. What a shame.
It won't be The Last Jedi?
Ignore everything I say, to the best of your ability.
And don't be ashamed to admit that you are in the minority of people that enjoy a movie more, it's fine.
Crying at a movie doesn't always mean somebody died. Sometimes, it could mean you cried at a scene you can relate to. Another example is something a character always wanted was granted, or something like that. I think i spoiled it a bit with one of my examples, but they don't give away anything about the plot, so I'll just say it's something you can relate to.
Another reason why I'm really ashamed to say I'm in the minority is because I'll be bashed for it or I'm on my own just because of what I think. It may sound childish, but that's how I feel being in the minority. Sure, I show respect to those in the minority, but me being a part of it makes me a bit ashamed.
I've only ever cried during one movie...

Star Wars movies are big here in my country, but because of the December release, they only have about 10 days of release here (The Last Jedi will have exactly 10 days of release here) since only local films are allowed to be shown in theaters from December 25 to January 7 (though it was shorter last year; until January 3). It's still allowed to show in IMAX and 4DX (it's some kind of 4D theater here) or 4D theaters here, but it is still unknown if it will return to all theaters on January 8 or whatever date other films may return or start showing.
The Force Awakens, so far here in my country, is the only movie that was able to return to all theaters on January 8. Other big movies released on December only returned to a limited amount of theaters and stopped showing about a week later or two. Given that The Last Jedi is a sequel (to The Force Awakens), it's most likely it'll return to all theaters to gross a big final box office result.
As for GOTG Vol. 2, it did as big as the predicted US box office opening weekend; just replace the dollars with PHP, and that's the basically how much it earned here. The first Avengers movie was the one that made every Marvel movie released on April become the biggest film of that year. So apparently, the biggest film of this year will either be Beauty and the Beast (it is currently the highest grossing film of all time here, surprisingly) or Justice League (if it's very good. BvS still did very big here tho). What shocked me with GOTG Vol. 2's results here was that it's very popular already because of the first one and it's a Marvel movie released on April. But it's actually still pretty big. Just $300k less than The Force Awakens, which did very good here.

Why, yes. I was even there before the reboot. Shameful days for the first year, though. I was still developing my roleplaying, even though it was there that I started, and my current style was... bad.
Wow! I was too, but it took me 8 months to get rank 7. Although I had plenty of likes recieved.
I remember bad grammar. And a good many accusations of "being unrealistic" and "over-powered".
