Sounds cool! If you finish it, I wanna see it. That'd be awesome, but I'm not sure I'll be able to... The miniseries I don't really want to share at all, as I'm trying to get myself to start writing for myself rather than for what I think others want and writing something only I'll see was the only solution I came up with, but I'd love it if I could eventually get some objective constructive criticism on the eventual script... Not sure how I could get it to you though. Any ideas? I mean, we have awhile, I haven't even started on the outline for the script, as I'm still really early on in the miniseries. Well... hmmmm. You could throw the entire story in some Jammers?
I'm really not sure...

That probably sounds about right. Could be. I could look it up, probably, but I haven't got the energy. Piracy is really a big problem, actually.

That's true... But would that make Vader technically not a Sith, then, because it breaks the rule of two? I didny even notice. I'm hoping the same thing, though... Not sure if we'll ever get a confirmation. Might just leave her mysterious. Are you gonna read her comic? Maybe? Yeeeeeah... In the EU, Han and Chewie landed on Earth and met Indiana Jones or something like that. That will be the first movie I see three times on the same day, opening day. They can take all of my dollars. Come on, pretty much every Sith broke that rule.
I'll read online summaries of her comic.

Also, there was a force-sensitive Astromech Droid.
Same here. Who should narrate?

Cool, I should try and find that spot.
It's a Mothra movie with some Indiana Jones and Godzilla thrown in, I doubt it's great. It's only weekly... Saturday nights. I think they're phasing out of Godzilla now though. There hasn't been one in the last couple weeks, but before that they had a solid six weeks or so with Toho flicks. Duuuuuuuuuude that sounds awesome. Cool. I'll have to try and watch for some sometime.
67% Rotten Tomatoes. It has my childhood favorite monster, Battra.

Wow, sounds cool. Even Rian Johnson's movie actually has some superhero-y stuff in it though. Definitely watch sometime.
Yeah, the tons of compliments on the script help too. I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want to. It's like number one on my list of movies which have already been released which I want to watch. I don't know if you're into this type of thing, but in case your interested, Rian Johnson's got all three of his produced scripts on his personal website, free to read. Definitely. I think it's going to be the most 'different' SW film ever. I'll check it out, but too bad that doesn't include The Last Jedi.
Rogue One was already pretty 'different,' if mostly because it's an anthology film, but The Last Jedi will definitely be unique. I can see Rian Johnson's directing style in the trailer now.

Here's some more I can say about GOTG Vol. 2: Basically, this movie is bigger and more of everything. More comedy, more action, more personal, more intense, and more emotional. Part of the flaws I noticed is that there were about two or three comedic scenes that killed the tension/moment. It was funny, yes, but they could've done it either later or they shouldn't have done it instead. I also realized the vibe I got when I first watched Vol. 1 wasn't really there. Yes, the characters are still the same, but what made this sequel feel very different is that it's just more personal. The first was obviously about bringing the team together. In here, we dig deeper into each team member. There were cliches, but they only worked here and the twists really came out of nowhere. I'm really scared to admit that I enjoyed it more than the first. There, I said it. Smash me now. This was more intense and emotional (in fact, I cried). But hey, I think the only way to enjoy this is by having very low expectations like I did. If you expect this to be better than the first, don't. You'll surely find the first one better. Maybe it's just that I'm in the minority of everything. You cried? That tells me someone died...
And don't be ashamed to admit that you are in the minority of people that enjoy a movie more, it's fine.

Ant-Maniac I'm 8legos, a member of the LOTR RP, you may or may not remember me from your time leading Rivendale. But if I remember correctly you had a brother on the boards 9ringwraths, is he still around? And would he be intersted in joining the RP again? We have much of the old group back together, rex, CC, bobbie, mace, KK, EE, myself and others. Would he be intersted in that? We would love to have him! Thanks, 8legos He is indeed my brother, but he hasn't been active on the LMBs since months before they old boards closed... I can definitely ask him if he's interested in returning though, if you'd like me to. I thought so. It would have rather embarrassing if he wasn't. You might as well, he might get his old HQ back too.

And don't be ashamed to admit that you are in the minority of people that enjoy a movie more, it's fine.Crying at a movie doesn't always mean somebody died. Sometimes, it could mean you cried at a scene you can relate to. Another example is something a character always wanted was granted, or something like that. I think i spoiled it a bit with one of my examples, but they don't give away anything about the plot, so I'll just say it's something you can relate to. Another reason why I'm really ashamed to say I'm in the minority is because I'll be bashed for it or I'm on my own just because of what I think. It may sound childish, but that's how I feel being in the minority. Sure, I show respect to those in the minority, but me being a part of it makes me a bit ashamed.

Doesn't look like GOTG Vol. 2 will smash records here in my country, which is a big shock to me imo. It's an MCU movie released in summer and GOTG has become well known because of the first film. Now it looks like it will only do as much as the first or as much as most MCU spin-off movies do. Now the highest-grossing filmn of this year in my country will either be Beauty and the Beast or Justice League. What a shame.

Well...consider...what were the Jedi? They were peacekeepers...sort of balancers of the Force. If the Sith and darkside was entirely eliminated.....I dunno. Are they necessary?
It is officially canon that The Last Jedi is plural. Yeah, but the thing is, the Dark Side, and Dark Side users still exist, just the order called the Sith don't. So it's a weird situation. Its definitely not... If anything it's the opposite. Here's the exact quote from Mr. Johnson: "In my mind, it's singular. In my mind it is. ... As to whether Luke is the 'Last Jedi,' they say in The Force Awakens he's going to find the last Jedi temple and Luke is the last Jedi." (via IGN, though you can find this quote all over the interwebs, and even the actual video if you google it.) Yes....a lot of people get mad if you call Kylo and Snoke Sith...but they seem to be the same thing. I think, as you do, the Old Jedi are going to be gone, and we will have new, different Jedi. With different rules, beliefs, and powers, but still the same principles.
Yeah, that's the problem. The director doesn't exactly agree with the official canon. The Last Jedi refers to something more than our last group of Jedi we will see in TLJ, it refers to the end of an era, a change of the Jedi. Star Wars movie names always have multiple meanings.

Maybe. Everybody says Rey is NOT a Skywalker because she picks up on things way faster than Luke. Fact of the matter is.....I don't think Rey is that good at all. That's doesn't make sense... How would the fact she picked up on it quick mean she wasn't a Skywalker? I mean, Anakin channeled the Force really quick. Rey's definitely a very powerful Force user. She's untrained, and probably not Anakin or Yoda level powerful, but I'd put her up their on Jedi Council level powerful. She's not OP, though, nor is she a Mary Sue like some folks think. Rey is a different sort of Jedi. She operates a little differently, but she still has that Skywalker thing about her. I dunno, it's not explainable. Anakin, Luke, Leia......they all have the Skywalker look. And I'm not talking about hair and eyes and stuff, their attitude, their thoughts, their stories, their ideas.......they are Skywalkers in their wishes and stories.

Probably. I mean, we still don't know too much about him, but I think you're probably right, judging from what we've seen. Which I like, because it makes him different from Old Ben or Yoda. Yeah, I know. I think your probably right. I just don't want it to be true. I'd like to watch it. I will eventually, as I want to get Netflix sooner or later. I don't think he's going to tell her so much as maybe show her? I think she'll find out in force visions which Luke will probably induce, whether by bringing her to a certain place like in ESB, or some other way. What're your pet theories? I am, too. A Leia film would be cool! Not sure if it's possible, though... Carrie Fisher was 18 years old when they filmed the first SW, so not sure they can really do a younger version unless she's like 10, and we saw how well child Anakin was received. :/ It's a shame though. I don't think anything about Snoke is canon except what we know from the film and a couple other small details, like that he was around since before the Clone Wars. Really? What do you think it is? EXACTLY! Except I think Han was more of the old Ben...don't read me wrong. Think about it. Guys meets some kid in the desert (ignore Finn ) with a valuable droid. Takes them to Cantina place, etc. etc. etc. Rey is definitely the daughter of somebody...that's all that almost everybody agrees on.
Yeah. Clone Wars is pretty cool. Ashoka was awesome! Well, I think Kylo has done more than we suspect. He killed all the new padawans in the New Jedi Order....and there may have been somebody else, important, another padawan. A padawan who is in the family. Han and Leia treat Kylo's doings as so tragic. Yes, it is tragic for him to kill all the padawans and go to the darkside, but doesn't it look a little deeper than that? Also, why did The Force Awaken? I mean...it's pretty odd that Rey, a 19 year old girl who has been on the planet of Jakku since she was like 5, should all of the sudden discover the Force. These things with Kylo and Snoke have been going on for years, why does Rey suddenly discover the Force on one random day several years after the First Order was founded? Somebody is out there....doing something. Somebody is still alive, unknown to others. Get anything I'm saying here?
Well, they could do a sort of Rogue One thingy. End the movie with the ending of Rogue One, so she could be 17 or 18. Everybody liked Padme in The Phantom Menace, didn't they? Natalie Portman was only 17 when that movie was made. It is possible to do it, I think.
Yup. Although Brian was telling me about some of it. I don't remember. It was some complicated story.
Famous actors never stay around long in Star Wars, they don't seem to like it. A New Hope- Alec Guiness did not like Star Wars, but he knew it would be huge. He was a famous actor, I've seen some of his other roles. He died in the very movie he showed up in. Peter Cushing was another famous actor before Star Wars. He died in the movie he showed up in. The Phantom Menace- Liam Neeson or however his name is spelled, famous actor, dies in the move he shows up in for the first time. Attack of the Clones- Christopher Lee was also a VERY famous actor. He showed up in Attack of the Clones, and dies in the very beginning of Revenge of the Sith. Rogue One- Felicity Jones and some of the other actors were famous. Need I say more? Welp, famous actors die in Star Wars. They just don't seem to like doing the movies or something. Harrison Ford took his turn. But.....I am betting he'll come back!
