Fangorn is the mysterious and foreboding forest in the realm of Rohan. The strange creatures known as Ents dwell here and tend to the forest, defending it against all enemies. (Due to time constraints, I will not delve into its history. )
It is the sub-HQ of Edoras.
As a sub-HQ, it grants 10,000 MWE to the leader (Qui currently). I believe it grants 500 SWE/NWE, but check with an RP official to make sure this is right. As to numbers given to a conqueror, again, please consult an official.
The units of Fangorn will be posted on the A&U shortly (not that there's much to post ).
*after some time, your troops begin the take heavy losses from massive boulders falling upon them. The forest is attacking! 1,000 rohirrim infantry charge in behind you.*
ooc: what troops do you have?
I can't believe I had the same awful signature for nearly 8 years. Sorry for disappearing for 2 months, life happened for a bit.

ooc: what troops do you have?
*As the nature of the forest forces troops to spread out thinly, boulders only hit a few of them. The Dunlendings use fire to combat the Ents. The Rohirrim are unable to carry out an effective charge, as the most a rider could get before having to change course is a few feet, stopping them from gaining speed and riding in large groups.*

OOC: Coming right up...
OOC: I thought fire couldn't be used as a weapon? also, none of the troops attacking you are on horseback. see my previous post.

OOC: something like burning a forest down isn't allowed, although fire arrows and torches used against Ents and Siege Engines is quite fine. For that matter, some of the crazier units, like my Firecarts in the fourth age RP and KK's FireFighters both use boiling oil as a primary weapon. The problems come in when we start burning large fields and forest regions down to ground.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

OOC: I believe you can't burn forests down, but I'm pretty sure burning one battlefield doesn't matter. K.
IC: *The Dunlendings push deeper, setting trees and Ents ablaze.

*my troops charge, weaving through the dense forest. they are followed by 10 boulder ents, who are using their boulders as shields against the flaming arrows.*

*The Dunlandings continue deeper into Fanghorn, setting more trees ablaze. Soon, a few trees are falling, and setting fire to others. A few Dunlendings perish, but the Rohirrim have difficulty following them through the flaming woods.*
