Tolfalas was a large island, also named in the form Tol Falas, that stood beyond the Ethir Anduin in the Bay of Belfalas.
During the Drowning of Númenor Tolfalas was almost destroyed, and was left like a barren and lonely mountain in the water not far from the Ethir.
Its sharp southern cape was traditionally considered as marking the southernmost point of Gondor proper. This region borders the Bay of Belfalas, and can only be reached by ship or a really big bridge that you'll have to build.
Unless your troops land and attack me or your ships begin attacking mine, you aren't contesting the region. However, your ships are attacking me, so now the region is contested.
There are 40 Coastal Marines on each Battleship and Frigate.
*All ships begin firing at your battleships* *The Destroyers drop their anchors in a bay and do nothing*
That would help
Right, I assume the ones that aren't on the island are the Coastal Marines?
IC: *My battleships sail in an V formation towards your ships, firing as they go. They focus fire on your battleships. (Two of my battleships to one of yours. One of yours will have 3 firing on it) They use special ballista bolts with a hollow ceramic head filled with oil and a flaming rag tied around them to set fire to your ships.* *My siege ships fire rocks at the masts of your ships to disable them, but stay quite far back.* *My frigates sail around your ships out of range to flank them. (They don't go near Tolfalas)* *My destroyers split up and sail in a random path towards your ships. They focus fire on your battleships as well (Two to one of your battleships) The highest power ballistae focus on hitting your rudderman, (? ) while the rest fire at your sails and masts with flaming bolts (Not the oil-filled ones) *
OOC: I'm not sure there is a bay at Tolfalas, but sure

I would have engaged, but I didn't want to until I knew what ships you had

How are two battleships firing at each of my battleships if I have twice as many battleships as you?
*The Frigates engage the Destroyers. They will quickly overpower them unless the Destroyers manage to flee* *The Battleships begin using oars, and fire at your hull as they pass around the V formation* *The Destroyers still do nothing*

Oops, it just means every two of mine fire at one of yours, so only 3 of yours are engaged
*On the contrary, they ram the back of your frigates, disabling many. They use oars to pull back out and speed away behind, firing their ballistae in the hole with flaming bolts* *Having put several of your battleships on fire, mine switch targets and fire on different battleships in the same pattern. The side that you passed take a curving path to loop behind your battleships. The other side uses oars to turn almost on the spot and also come around to be behind your battleships* *The Siege ships switch targets after destroying two battleship's mast to target two more*

I forgot about my archers *The archers on the battleships use flaming arrows to fire barrages at your battleships as they pass*
