Good job! *claps*
As the Haradrim on the west side approach the city, they are met with fire from the archers and the artillery on the walls. On the east side, as the soldiers cross the bridge, they are met with hundreds of arrows as well.
The Trebuchets fire at the Onagers while the Gondorian Onagers fire at any Haradrim who approach the wall. The Onagers on the east side fire at the forces on the bridge. Each shot blasts rock from the bridge in every direction. The bridge takes moderate damage in several areas.
There are 1,000 Archers, 250 Outer Guard, and 250 Ringlo Macemen on both the west and east walls. There are 12 Trebuchets and 6 Onagers on the west side, and 6 Onagers on the east side.

The eastern host stays out of range of the Onagers. If the artillery continued, the bridge may be destroyed. If need be, they ready rafts brought from Ithilien.
The Western host Stays mostly out of range of enemy fire, but onagers fire at archers on the walls, and at the gate.

The Onagers are fired upon by the Trebuchets.
OOC: How many Onagers do you have?
OOC: 100 of them
The gates and battlements take heavy fire. The merlons begin to fall off and break providing no cover for archers on the outer walls. The gate also is heavily damaged.

The Onagers suffer from poor accuracy due to the fact that they are not being manned by trained siege operators.
The Gondorian trebuchets fire, taking out several onagers with each volley. The onagers fire at the enemy catapults as well.
The infantry is moved off of the walls and onto the city streets behind the gates. They bring up materials and brace the gate.
The archers spread out so as to better avoid enemy fire and return fire if the enemy is in range.

Luckily Onagers are not very difficult to operate, and the attack as mentioned continues as I mentioned it. Exposed Gondorians are now crushed to death by stones.
The trebuchets are behind walls, and thus cannot see their targets, and suffer poor accuracy. They also are incapable of taking out more than one at a time.
Onagers focus on three spots: The main gate, and two sections of wall on either side of the gate, some distance away. Infantry rushes forward in shielded formations

The trebuchets are atop the walls, and have outstanding accuracy.
The Gondorian archers rain broadhead arrows down on the infantry, piercing through any weak points in the shields of the enemy.
The archers move away from the two sections of wall that are being targeted.
The news that Haradrim forces are advancing is relayed to the infantrymen on the streets. They move towards the weak spots in the walls.

Oh, then they fall easy prey to onagers.
The infantry takes many casualties, but charges across the field of battle to spots against the walls themselves, out of range of the enemies atop the walls.
The onagers, however many remain, hammer the spots they were targeting. The gate begins to break in a few spots. The spots on the walls are now cracked and jagged the whole way up the wall, and the merlons have been destroyed.

OOC: 3 day rule.
The haradrim infantry climb the walls using the jagged and fragmented wall segments. It's not ideal, but with scant defenders left on the battlements, it's easy work. The linepiercers and axemen storm the walls, going down to the gate.
The onagers focus on the gate, and it begins to give way.
The eastern force comes near on rafts, approaching the docks.

As they climb, they are shot in the skull by archers and fall, hitting their comrades and knocking all to the ground.
The men on the rafts are shot at by archers throughout their trip, and take massive losses. Once they make it, they find the Gondorian infantry waiting for them at the end of the docks.

There are not men on the wall, otherwise they would have been dead already. Remember there are no merlons left, and hundreds of arrows and many onagers are placed on them.
They use shields in transit to great effect. The linepiecers use javelins to soften the gondorians at the docks, and archers do as well. They hook gondorians by the legs using falxes and polearms.
