The Gondorian Trebuchets are moved towards the battle. Once in range they begin firing at the enemy. The Guards of Osgiliath surround them in defensive formation.
I'm confused. Shamrock said there was a keep whose walls were destroyed, and you were trying to repair.

I'll do it, they where rex's troops so if I'm taking over for him then I'll take those troops too.

The south keep was untouched, but the north keep lost some of its walls. I did a bit of repair work on the north one, but not a lot.

Give me a briefing on what I have, what the enemy has, what's going on, and what I need to do, and I'll see what I can manage.

Cody's list can be found on the last few pages. I'll have to do some digging to find your list.

Well then, the north one I guess? I made a post, please refer to it.
Very well.
The Gondorian trebuchets open fire with devastating ferocity, sending massive chunks of rock flying through the air at their foes. Dozens of infantrymen are crushed under the barrage. The Guardsmen hold their ground and defend the catapults.

The entire host is mounted, even the infantry, and scattering and rapid charges make the attack nearly null.
The incredibly elite Morgul host charges down the catapults and the guardsmen, and knock off heads before turning and riding away. Camel Archers fire in the time between strikes. The Mobile forces are held back near the Mumaks.

No matter how elite a rider is, his horse is still a horse. They skewer themselves on the halberds of their foes before they are close enough to swing their swords. The guardsmen pull back their weapons and strike forward once again, impaling the horses that have tripped on the corpses of their allies.
The arrows of the Camel Riders are deflected by armor and/or shields.
The Trebuchets fire at the Mumakil if they are in range.

OOC: I suppose I should have asked for a troops list.
IC: If the enemy are wielding halberds or other polearms, the cavalry evade them, or equip lances.

Not many of them would be.
They are not.
OOC: 35 Gondorian Trebuchets and 100 Osgiliath Guardsmen.
IC: Did the Morgul Cavalry come with lances? I can't remember.
Against heavy Gondorian plate I doubt that long range shots from a (presumably) small horse archer bow on the back of a moving camel would have effect.
