I'd like to submit a (currently) one of a kind mecha for approval: Unit Name: Kobuna
Appearance:
Power Source: Not chi, but rather the will power, determination, and life force of the pilot. It uses joints made with the same stone as speedorz wheels to harness this force and turn it into energy for movement. However it does have some built in technology powered by chi, mostly to make sure the speedorz stones don't absorb too much life force. These are replaced annually (Or some other long period of time so I never have to worry about it.)
General Attributes: - Speed: Depends on the terrain, but pretty quick considering what it is. Won't be able to outrun any Speedorz or other quick wheeled vehicles. - Armor: Decently thick, won't be blasted apart easily. - Strength: Decently Strong, won't be picking up battleships or anything like that - Armaments: A large sword, and two medium swords stored on hips or back. - Determination Boost: The more determined the user is, and the more life force he generates, the more powerful the mecha becomes. Speed, Durability, and Strength are all boosted exponentially based on how determined the user is. If there is enough of a will to continue then the mecha can even do things considered impossible, like repairing itself or generating and wielding new massive weapons. However those types of things revert back to nothing or as they were once the fight is over, and would require normal repairs to fix. - Size: Around 25 feet tall, assuming a minifig is 6 feet.
If this isn't approved initially, I'd like to know what could be done so it is approved. Also if anyone recognizes the show this design is emulating, you're the best
Then no, you cannot use that against the Ice Hunters. Only weapons powered by orbs of fire chi can do anything against the Ice Hunters.
I have to disagree. Just because they have magic shenanigans doesn't mean that they are exempt from the laws of logic and physics. They will to find other ways to counter them.
I agree with him, so this resolution passes for fire.
We limited subs, even though they aren't OP, because they are unnatural, should we limit the amount of Capital ships?
Well, I think we should stop any fleet from reaching more than one hundred capital ships of a each model.
A hundreas is too much, we are talking about Capital ships, not screens, or cruisers or subs - Capital ships - Battleships and Aircraft Carrier no navy should have over 12 of either, the fact that theres a navy of over 26 aircraft carriers and 21 battleships is broken, the many thing about capital ships is that they take time, and need to be supported.
Welp, apparently all magic was never approved, so I guess I should ask for approval first. Even if people have already used it for more than that
I have a character capable of creating incredibly powerful explosions of mass destruction. Afterwards she falls prone and is severely weakened, unable to cast a spell until the next day. She also knows no other magic.
Actual profile is on page 23 of the archives.
Who's done what now?
I actually find this an interesting 'magic' power. I'm not sure on the 'mass destruction' part, seems it could be OP but it does have plenty of drawbacks.
However, something I really want to bring up, as the essential creator of the magic I think you're referring to.
Name: Alore
Species: Fox
Age: 14
Affiliation: None specifically?
Gender: Female
Appearance: A young fox with bright orange fur and crimson eyes. She wears a short, informal, red dress with yellow trimming, and a dark brown cape with the same style of yellow trimming. She has a hat that matches the brown of the cape, and has stitching on it that vaguely resembles a face. She also wears an eyepatch that she claims "helps her contain her powerful magic and that if were removed the world would end." She's obviously lying
Weapons and Gear: A staff that channels her use of magic
Backstory: Ever since a young age Alore has been fascinated in magic, specifically the explosive kind. She trained everyday, and eventually could cast massive explosions capable of piercing the thickest armor. However there's a slight problem in her magic abilities. She never really thought that any other magic was important, even going so far as to look down upon them, nor the ability to cast more than one explosion. Why bother when you can one shot people? Thus whenever she casts an explosion she collapses and can't move for a brief amount of time, and afterwards is severely weakened and can't cast another explosion until the next day. So if there are more enemies than she can take out with a single explosion, she's in trouble.
Her backstory says ever since a young age, she's been fascinated in magic. Not too absurd, given Chi's magical properties an what-not. However, explosion magic, or 'other' magic types don't exist in standard Chima as it is, at least not back around then, I assume. The strongest Spider Witch, Spelyne, learned her greatest magics from her psychic connection to the First Witch, Maulryene.
So, Maulryene was the first witch, alright, and the strongest around town. Skipping to her adulthood, Maulryene wrote down several of her magical studies in tomes to preserve. ALL of them were found by Spelyne, and promptly destroyed after she memorized them. That's how Spelyne got the connection. So, there's no real way for Alore to know about explosive magic, or 'other' types of magic.
I'm just worried about the way her backstory works then. If you want, I can totally come up with a better way for her to discover magic, or even something I was hoping to keep secret until the Sea Raider period, but it could be fun and it'd integrate them into the lore. I already have a rough draft constructed.

This is blocked, we did not see it, I use my Veto power to block it, many mods someimtes even block such suggestions. All WMD's across all RP's are banned, this is not something we can debate.
It is designed to work on All Magic. All of it, and no the user need not be aware of the magic for it not to work.
It cannot work on Mammoth or Spider magic, I'm just saying. The only way you can counteract their own magic is with their own magic, and magic isn't exactly common, even then, Spelyne's the strongest (and Maulryene)
You can keep saying, but that isn't how this device works. All magic ceases to work. That is how the device works. You can't cast or practice magic with the device in play. I doesn't matter how strong the magic is or what kind of magic it is. Magic won't work near this device.

SO you agree on super-heated rebars tacking icehunters to the walls?
In reality, only five weapons out of Freeman’s vast arsenal could only damage ice hunters, His Resistance Crossbow, his Grenades (he can switch out his frags for incindearys later), his Rocket Luancher (still, HE rocket for Incendiary Rocket, if there is such a thing. ) and last but DEFINITELY not least, his Gravi-chi gun. Enough blunt force on someone from a massive enough object and boom, they are outta comission. And when ice gets too packed, Crowbar is where its at, to be used as an ice pick, definitely a super-heated crowbar that would have enough integrity to keep its form/shape whilst melting the ice with every single strike.
EVEN IF THEY FREEZE THE HOLDED OBJECT THAT IS HELD BY THE GRAVICHI GUN, it will still be affected by the weapon, for more added blunt force trauma. Flippydoodah is right, magic is all Smoke n’ mirrors, SCIENCE IS WHERE ITS AT, AND SCORDON FREEMAN, THE LEGENDARY CROWBAR-WEILDING M-I-CHI GRADUATE IS GONNA KNOCK DA SCIENCE OUTTA YA!!! The J

-I gently push my State-destroying Dragon Ascension Cannon closer to completion-

She is only 14 years old, there has been plenty of time for others to discover magic and use it. I don't really see what the problem is? Not to mention there are other magic users, so Spelyne and Maulryene are not the only ones out there.

I mean, it's not really a weapon of mass destruction like some other things in existence. It can make a pretty big explosion, but it's not going to be wiping out entire armies, fleets, and definitely not cities in one shot. Just a poor choice of words on my part.

I am giving this a 2nd thought, how powerful are the explosions? also: FelipeDutraShamrock
This FAC has never approved full-on magic. We approved the ability create Pulsor beams without a gun and create minor energy shields. We just rejected plasma weaponry. Which weapons do you believe to be borderline-nuclear?
Great.
And yet I'm seeing words like "powerful" being used to describe those with said magic. What's the point of such claims if you won't even let them have something as basic as conjuration? Especially limited conjuration that involves nothing bigger than 6 feet? Like what are you even worried about.
Looks like the proton bombs I'm talking about are stuck in moderation on the previous page and are only visible on mobile, which I didn't notice here on my laptop. I'm sure you wouldn't stand for them if you knew about them.
If conjuration is too much, then I'll settle for summoning from a personal armory. The weapons still must appear out of nowhere in his hands. Regardless, I don't see the issue with the conjuration, and you're the first person in years to have an outspoken problem with it. Call me spoiled, but I want a solid reason as to why you won't approve it.
I won't approve it because it doesn't fit with what we've seen in Chima canon. The magic we have approved is just a way to manipulate the power of Chi without using a blaster or other device. It's the sort of thing that one could see in canon Chima without any major changes to the world. Conjuration is wildly different from that.
