I think Decade got a magnetism weapon approved a long time ago.

Not magnetism, Zero Point Energy is the correct term. Zero-point energy (ZPE) or ground state energy is the lowest possible energy that a quantum mechanical system may have. Unlike in classical mechanics, quantum systems constantly fluctuate in their lowest energy state due to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. As well as atoms and molecules, the empty space of the vacuum has these properties. According to quantum field theory the universe can be thought of not as isolated particles but continuous fluctuating fields: matter fields, whose quanta are fermions (i.e. leptons and quarks), and force fields, whose quanta are bosons (e.g. photons and gluons). All these fields have zero-point energy. These fluctuating zero-point fields lead to a kind of reintroduction of an aether in physics, since some systems can detect the existence of this energy. However this aether cannot be thought of as a physical medium if it is to be Lorentz invariant such that there is no contradiction with Einstein's theory of special relativity.
The Gravi-Chi gun uses a Zero-Point-Energy-based tractor-beam to pull non-organic objects (its not gonna pull any chimian body unless it has enough power to pull said organic compounds) to it at a distance and holds it in place infront of the gun, and uses said ZPE to punt said objects. As Spalyx Says, its mostly used for heavy lifting, and is handy for clearing minefields (if the mines are layed above ground and are not buried under heavy earth). It has a max lifting/pulling capacity so its not deemed OP; Basically around the size and weight of your typical dumpster. However, its “primary charge (punt)” can push typical two-ton cars around, helpful for flipped over vehicles the max it can move with a punt is at five tons and yes, this weapon uses chi to operate said things i mentioned.
Or in short of what i just said: Think of what Syndrome is doing here. minus all the glowy affects and glove-based weapon and minus the body-pulling/catching, instead, pretend he is moving boxes, wooden pallets, barrels and cinderblocks to name a few elements that the Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator (The Gravi-chi Gun’s full name) can use as weapons.
