''South Ithilien was the southern land of Ithilien, from Morgulduin in the north to the River Poros in the south.

The land was a strip of land between Anduin to the west and and Ephel Dúath to the east. It was traversed by a portion of the Harad Road from the Crossings of Poros to the Cross-roads; there was another road to Pelargir. Its most notable feature was the hills of Emyn Arnen.''

It was a fair region full of life, though in the Third Age it was a battle ground between the Towers of the Guard and Dark Sorcery.

To clarify, it borders Emyn Arnen to the north, and the Crossings of Poros to the south.

It provides 1, 000 MWE and 100 SWE.
