Due to the continued barrage from 10 Trebuchets and 10 Onagers, swathes of the city have been destroyed. Any substantial resistance is now either obliterated or far enough from the orcs that it cannot reach them in any haste. The siege engines are moved forwards slightly and continue levelling.
Meanwhile, the orcs start building a great tower, in the centre of a great circle they have cleared of rubble.

OOC: I beg to differ, I have troops here that I would like to combat you with. I just haven't had time. Please null those moves for now, I'll make my response tomorrow.

OOC: Technically most of those moves have been going on for the past few weeks. However, I'll null the tower, as that's the only thing that I'm not just posting a continuation of.

Rangers of Ithilien sneak through the city, firing at the siege operators before disappearing. Several Scorpions fire from unknown locations.
The Gondorian army digs in at their current position, taking any shots they have at the siege operators and other unlucky Orcs.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that isn't the case. LB wasn't on for some time, so you can't just make multiple moves against him. If you could, then I would have conquered Dol Guldur already.

OOC: You can't build structures during battle.
IC: *The elves assist the main Gondorian force in setting a defensive perimeter, with the scorpions along the front lines.*
*The trebuchets are set up about 20 yards apart from each other in no order and open fire on the enemy machines.*
*Half of the Silvan archers, Maethy I-Thewair, and all the Warders move out, taking hidden positions east of the main force. They quietly dispatch any companies of orcs they see on the way. They then hide behind and in the buildings and ruins, while the Warders take higher positions to snipe.*

As the trebuchets have levelled everything in range, the Rangers are easily spotted and fired upon long before they can get to the operators. The Scorpions are unable to get close because of this.

I said during our main battle that the trebuchets levelled everything in range whilst moving forwards. I never said they stopped. Therefore, they have been doing so ever since.

*Long before they come within bowshot, the elves reach the area levelled by the trebuchets. They are marked and met with many arrows.*

As the trebuchets can't level every little bit of cover, the Rangers use these heaps of rubble and their camouflage to avoid detection. The Rangers sit back out of Orc arrow range and begin picking off the siege operators.
The Scorpions pull back once they realize that they can't hit the trebuchets.
OOC: If it's daytime, the Orcs have no chance of seeing the Rangers. If it's nighttime, they'll still have a hard time finding them.
Apologies for the delay, I've been busy with college planning.
OOC: Alright, I'd like to clear a few things up. My trebuchets are being set up along the outer edge of the city, not close to the area your trebuchets have cleared. They would more than likely be concealed from your troops by the ruins and only forward scouts would notice them initially, but you haven't mentioned any. Also, the Mirkwood elves are the most skilled of their race at stealth, and they aren't moving nearly as close to the levelled area as you seem to think. Finally (and I think this is a major point), the trebuchets cannot "level" an entire area - the ruins that they are firing upon would still form large piles of rubble and plenty of cover, in addition to the large amount of boulders being flung at them in the first place. There's still plenty of cover, and suggesting otherwise doesn't make sense.
I'll make my move after this is addressed. Oh, and if you don't mind, can I have a list of all troops and siege engines you have here?

No problem.
OOC: K. Very well. They cannot fully level it, no. They can, however, destroy all major structures, so that the elves are constantly breaking cover. I also stated that orcs were collecting rubble from the levelled area for use as ammunition ages ago, which would result in a lot less cover for the elves, and mean that they would be unlikely to get close to the war engines unnoticed.

OOC: I'll concede that. But so far my elves have not entered the area that has been hit, so that isn't a problem. Now I'm not exactly sure who's turn it is. Your moves are nulled, and currently your troops have no idea my troops are even in the city.
