*A large fleet of ships arrives from Lebinnin and stays out of range of your siege weapons slightly down river* *The siege weapons here move to the edge of the river and fire at yours, catching your troops unawares and destroying the trebuchets first, then the mangonels*
OOC: In the fleet there are:
3 Siege ships, 150 TWE
9 Battleships, 400 TWE
4 Frigates, 180 TWE
Flagship: Fuinur II - 70 TWE (Slightly larger than a siege ship, with more anti-ship weapons)

I brought 400 TWE worth of Mangonels from Minas Tirith. If there isn't a post here, it's in the Minas Tirith topic.
If I forgot: a long time ago, a lot of mangonels arrived from Minas Tirith.
That's not the first time you've forgot
Also, I looked it up and you only sent 20 Mangonels here, 200 TWE worth
My good man, there happens to be a rather large wall encircling my side of the city. Please take note of this.
*The trebuchets fire over the wall at the flagship* OOC: I'm going to assume that the mast on this ship is taller than 30 feet, and therefore visible from the other side of the wall.

30 FEET!!! That is a rather large wall to build in 10 days. I assumed it was about 10-15 feet tall
*The ships are out of range and your shots merely give away the position of your trebuchets to my own trebuchets, which launch a bombardment against your trebuchets, destroying one or two*
OOC: LB, please read next time I say "out of range"

Oh, I forgot to add:
*My ships spread out and sail up the river pas Osgiliath, launching a barrage against your mangonels and trebuchets (Assuming the mangonels are in a similar location to the trebuchets, which would make sense)*

How are your trebuchets able to fire at me while I cannot fire at you? If anything, the land trebuchets should have longer range. Seafaring trebuchets would have to be lighter as they run a risk of sinking the ship, and therefore smaller.
The mangonels are spread along the river shore behind the wall.

My land trebuchets are firing at yours. My ships are only in range of them now, and they are almost impossible to hit because they are sailing past at maximum speed. (I can't imagine a trebuchet can turn very fast )

The TWE that arrived before is invested in the following:
100 Ladders (1 each; 100 TWE)
20 Trebuchet (15 each; 300 TWE)
10 Onagers (10 each; 100 TWE)
IC: *10 Trebuchet and all Onagers are moved to the bank. They commence firing on the western shore, specifically at the Gondorian war engines. *
They hit a wall, and fall into the river. The shots that make it over the wall miss, except for one. Poor mangonel.
OOC: Your wall would be a reasonable distance from the river. Unless you want it constantly eroded.
IC: The trebuchet projectiles would at least cause some surface damage, if not crack the wall. The other 10 Trebuchet are brought forward, and all of the siege engines fire again. They aim to smash up as much of the walkway and parapets as possible.

OOC: What if the stones rolled down the riverbank?
They caused damage, but bounced off after causing said damage.
The siege engines are moved around. They fire a round, then move again, never to the same place.

OOC: Considering the size of stuff trebuchet fire, it would be mor elikely that the bank would collapse.
IC: The siege engines keep firing, changing their trajectory to ensure all bolts either go over the wall and destroy the buildings behind them, or hit the upper section. The Onagers focus on sending rocks over to hit your siege engines, while the Trebuchet keep firing on the same areas of wall, swiftly sending parts of the walkways and uppermost slabs of stones into the streets behind. They are slowly moved along the bank, so that their fire travels along your wall, creating growing areas that cannot be traversed.
