All 6,000 MWE here pulls back to the Pelennor Fields.
The 6,000 MWE returns from the Pelennor Fields and claim the city. Workers begin repairing the defenses.
Right now, all Gondorians are on the west side of the city.

The rafts are boarded and they cross the river. On the other side, 200 shadowy figures vanish. The Morgul-host knows nothing of their whereabouts even as arrows begin to appear in the backs of Orcs.
For future reference, I sent 200 Rangers of Ithilien over the river.

As the Orcs are in the middle of building, and some of them will be on the bank, the Rangers are seen before they land, and they find orcs moving to meet them as they disembark.
OOC: As you said the figures were shadowy, and talked of vanishing, I'm assuming your attack took place at night. That's a bad move; orcs can't stand sunlight, meaning that they'd be working at night and hiding by day.

OOC: A) You never tell your opponent he made a bad move. B) By 'shadowy' and 'vanishing' I meant that the rangers are using the shadows to their advantage and are wearing gray to hide in the ruins.
The Rangers fire a continuous volley at the Orcs on the shore as they return to the west side, smashing many.

The 2 completed trebuchets begin firing flaming projectiles at the east side of the city, causing panic and disarray among the Orcs as the greenery catches on fire and spreads rapidly.

A clamour is raised by the orcs, as they hasten to get water from the Anduin. as they start to put out the fires, others tears up greenery that is not ablaze, and pile it on the bank.

OOC: What does that have to do with it?
The Rangers land on the other side and regroup with the main army.
What troops were firing at the Rangers? Simple Orc Archers?

The Orcs pull back, leaving a few buildings to be destroyed. They wait, knowing the barrage will cease.
