The trebuchets don't have enough range to hit the vastly superior Gondorian trebuchets, and succeed only in hitting that which they have already destroyed.
The Onagers cause some damage, but the crude Orc bows do not have enough power to seriously damage the Gondorians.
Several trebuchets redirect their fire onto the enemy trebuchets.
OOC: Have these trebuchets of yours been through the FAC Armies and Units Topic? As in, been seen and approved by someone like Kitkat? They seem rather OP.
OOC: They were in the original army list that I posted. More information about them was posted in Lebennin when I used them there.
OOC: They can't see the barricade (well, some of them can't) because they're behind the Orcish catapults. They don't have any sort of elevation advantage over the enemy.
The pikemen in the first rank drop their pikes, draw their sword, and form a shield wall. The pikemen in the second rank slide their weapons into the slight dip between each shield, forming a similarly formidable line for the Haradrim to charge at. Most of the arrows hit the shields or heavy armor of the Gondorians.
OOC: they are allies with the orcs, and thus can use the orc spotters for range. Besides, every siege engine team would have spotters to check range.
The arrows from the archers behind fire into the second row slaying the pikemen behind. The Haradrim warriors draw back.
The infantry closes in, and the warriors fall in line behind them. The pikemen lower their pikes and approach the Gondorian line.
OOC: Good point.
The losses in the second rank are moderate, but the heavy armor of the pikemen protect them from the worst of the attack.
They encounter a row of pikes similar to their own.

OOC: How much are these pikemen worth? To be equipped with heavy armour AND shields seem greater than 1 MWE
The pikemen hammer against enemy armour using pole axes, the blunt force doing terrible damage to the heavy armour. However, the main attack is from Kwanuk Linepiercers who hurl their serrated javelins over the front lines into the shoulders and necks of their opponents. Small holes in the Haradrim first line open allowing linepiercers to reach in with their long falx blade and pull Gondorian pikemen out of formation. They then fall victim to Pazghar axemen and their heavy maces.

Archers and onagers continue their volleys
OOC: Perhaps I have overrated their armor. Sorry about that.
Before the pikemen reach their foes to hammer them with pole axes, they are met with a coordinated thrust by the spears of their foes. This attack impales many of the front line men, smashing them and creating obstacles for the men behind them.
The falxes impact the shields of the front line pikemen rather than actual men, and do nothing more than shove the man holding the shield.
Most of the surviving men in the rear ranks draw their swords and move around the pike line towards the flank of the Haradrim.
The other Pikemen in the army (500), as well as the Rangers of Ithilien, move towards this struggle.
The Heavy Crossbowmen, having deemed their powerful attack a success, pull back behind the barricade. They move towards the Haradrim forces and fire their weapons at the heads of their foes.

The pikemen armour turns most thrusts, but they are held at bay. They use their axes now to split the heads off spears and break pikes at the shaft.
The falxes actually aim between shields and hack limbs holding pike and shield. They also break enemy pikes at the shaft, allowing the haradrim pikemen to advance with pole axes dealing devastating blows to their lines.
The javelins continue to fly, dealing terrible breaks in the line. The shield wall quickly falls apart.
The archers aim at the moving pikemen and rangers, and swordsmen prepare to intercept enemies.
The onagers have already dealt a critical blow to the crossbowmen, so few remain to intercept the Haradrim.

I don't believe that you said the onagers were firing at the crossbowmen.
The javelins impact shields and nothing else. The falxes cannot find gaps in a formation made by Gondorian soldiers who have trained for years perfecting this and other similar formations.
The pikemen form a tortoise in response to the arrows, and the Rangers use their typical strategy of evasion to avoid casualties. The pikemen take moderate losses during the initial stage of the arrows.
The pikemen who lose their pikes draw their swords as well and prepare for battle. Many who still have their pikes thrust at the men with falxes.

The Orc Archers, seeing the troop movements, alter their attack. They focus their fire on the lightly armoured Rangers of Ithilien, dealing heavy damage. The Onagers continue firing, seeking to disrupt formations and force Gondorians to scatter, exposing them to the Archers.

OOC: Unfortunately, most of this post will be telling you why you're wrong
I did in fact say the onagers were attacking the crossbowmen, as I said they were attacking all men in front of the barricade. You neglected to respond
The men aren't throwing javelins right at the shields, that'd be stupid. They vault them over the shields.
The falxes simply have to slide along the shields until they find the natural bend between two shields, and hack downwards. The strongest, most regimented man cannot resist such pressure.
Pikemen cannot form a tortoise They have to grip their pikes with two hands, so their shields would have to be attached to their forearms. In order to form a tortoise, they'd have to drop their pikes and pull their shields off their forearms.
IC: The Reavers use their falxes also to pull the shields themselves down slightly and momentarily allowing pikemen to attack with poleaxes over the shields, slamming into shoulder armour making huge dents.
The archers continue pounding the pikemen and rangers, though don't expect to cause more than scattering their foes.
OOC: Apologies for the delay, I've been busy with school starting again.
IC: *The entire elven force regroups, and then carefully advances through the buildings towards the area where Haradrim force is. The Warders take up positions and begin to methodically shoot down enemy leaders, while the main force advances on the Haradrim. The Arandond and swordsmen form a loose shield wall as they advance, while the spearmen and Maethyr I-Thewair form up in the ranks behind. The Silvan archers spread out behind and fire a volley into the enemy ranks.*
*The scorpions are also set up with the archers and open fire.*
*The elven trebuchets, in range by now, begin to fire upon the Haradrim onagers.*

OOC: *sigh*
Oops.
Oops. Also, how many javelins do these guys carry? It should be taken into account that they become useless once their ammunition is gone.
I'm not sure what you mean by this. Do you mean the bend between the sides of the shields or the bend of the shield's slope?
IC: Due to unfortunate circumstances, the pikemen form a phanlanx instead.
The Scorpions scattered among the archers move closer to the Haradrim forces.
The Pikemen in the first and second row are smashed (100 men). The other ranks pull back and split down the middle, allowing the Scorpions and any surviving Crossbowmen to fire straight into the front ranks of their foes.
If any Haradrim try to charge down the middle, they are either shot by a bolt or stabbed by one of the pikemen. The pikemen in the first rank on each side hold their shields towards the enemy and face the corridor in the center. They hold their swords in the other hand. Their pikes are on the ground beneath their feet.

{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} Great, thanks for letting me know. Btw, congrats on getting accepted to the Mod team!! I had applied, but I got to busy to do the interview so I dropped it.
