I'm currently making and designing (most of) a medieval clothing kit from the shoes to the gloves to the cape and everything in-between. (^v^) I've been wanting one for quite some time now, and since I can't get the items I'm looking for I'm making them myself. It's hard, but therein lies the creative fun!

I'm going to be learning German, and also some engineering classes which are the tougher subjects.
Yes, there is a lot to learn, more than I realised at first. I have acquired the skill of sewing, so that's opened up the ability to make my own clothes, but I've never been one for following patterns other than my own. What I've embarked on involves glove making, shoe making, various sewing techniques and my personal favourite: leatherwork. Probably not as interesting as what I make, but that's my thing.
Oh, German! I love linguistics, and hope to learn a language someday. Have you had previous experience in the language area? The engineering sounds cool also, which I believe goes hand in hand with design..?

That's really amazing and very original! Making your own clothes must be very challenging, but the result must feel really good since you did all of it yourself!
Nice! I learned Japanese before, but I think I have forgotten some of it by now. Yeah, engineering could go with design pretty well, but I so far I haven't learned much design yet. Hopefully next year I'll get into the design aspect.

Thank you. Even more so because I'm hand sewing everything. (O_o) Yes, hand sewing is, of course, much harder than using a sewing machine, but I don't have access to one and I don't know how to work it.
