That'll be pretty cool. I think LEGO fans having a closet full of unopened LEGO sets is quite common, which I'll admit I don't quite fully understand. I see. What kind of coins do you have in your coin collection? Hopefully that'll be the time.
That's true. All I know is that there's quite a lot of factors in choosing what becomes a set, and I have no idea what those factors are.
Ah, I see. Sounds like it won't tear easily.
Right, though the convenience of a car is that you can hold lots of things like groceries, supplies, etc, depending on if you need that kind of thing. Now that I think about it, how do people who use the metro as their main commute get groceries? I can't imagine they'd make multiple trips, or bring their own cart with them.
I have some 11 year old unopened star wars sets at my parents', plus some near-worthless polybags from the 80s. I just collect circulated coins. I like to find joy in the mundane - look at your laundry money and you find something you've never seen before. I so rarely use cash anymore that all I tend to get my hands on is quarters, which I need for the laundry machines in my building. I've had great success in filling in my state and national park collections. I'm excited to start seeing some of the "american women" quarters which begin production this year.
Well, I live across the street from a grocery store. Every week and a half to two weeks I go to the supermarket a few blocks away because I like the deli and the prices are a little better than the local place. Sometimes I take my personal cart over there with me, but usually I just carry everything. It's not particularly difficult for just me, though I imagine if you have a family to feed it would be cumbersome to carry. I also think most urban areas tend to have a local grocery of some sort one can walk to, rather than take transport. Who knows
Wow. Those sound quite valuable now if they're in good condition. I see. I actually did decide to look at my piggy bank of coins to extract the quarters for laundry and found some familiar coins. I found a copper-coated nickel I made for a science project and a penny with cuts in it for that science project. Ah yes, I did hear about those new quarters. They'll be interesting to collect, though for me it'll just end up in the laundry machine.
Ah, I see. I remember when I was in college I took the bus to go to the grocery store and brought my own hand-truck with a large bag on it to carry it all the way back home. That would make sense, there's probably communities of smaller markets, or maybe the farmers market that happens on weekends.
Hehe, thanks. Just gotta make do with what you've got lying around.
Back when they had film reels and dark rooms to process film. It was possible, but definitely tedious. Definitely agree. Too chaotic.
I get a lot of candy at work anyway, so I can just go there for my candy fill. Oh yeah, I guess that's somewhat convenient.
I think MacGyver would be proud of you
That is certainly true. Have you ever been in a dark room? They're always such cool spaces. If the weather could stick to a schedule that would be nice.
Oh nice. Do you have favorite kind?
And happy day after St. Patrick's day
Hehe, thanks. I recently got more mosquito bites, so I'll be doing that again.
I think I may have been in a dark room for film once or twice before on some special occasion, though I don't quite remember. Indeed. I think where I am is finally getting some stable weather.
I prefer the gummy candies, hard candies like life-savers, and some chocolates.
Also AP and I tried to watch dukes of hazzard and we could barely get through half of the pilot episode it is absolutely terrible pandering
I'm in your house.
Lol, then I guess it's terrible. Maybe I only liked it 'cause I was a kid. I ain't watched it since. I guess I was doing myself a favor.
I wouldn't say I have a house either
I liked it as a kid too. When you're a kid the fact that all the characters are annoying is easier to get over, and you just focus on car chases and hoodwinking crooked cops. There were a few funny jokes, but not worth seven seasons of it.
