It should be. Uh I don't know. First, I have to learn how, and I'm not going with a date, I'm going with my best friend, so chances are I won't need to anyway.
I did homeschool ballroom dance lessons for 3 years. Dances were always fun. I never had a date either so I'd oftentimes ask random people to slow dance

That's very cool! I've never really been to one, but they seem super fun! Oh golly I could never! Good for you tho.

I was in my undergrad's Latin dance club (even the president during my senior year when everything was online because covid... ) for three years and that was a lot of fun too. Apparently they have a ballroom dance club at my current university but I have yet to learn if they actually meet. I might try to join a dance team again next year. Partner dancing is my fav

What's Latin dance like? (Oh nice ) That would be cool, ballroom dancing is what I'd like to learn. That could be a lot of fun! It's probably more fun than dancing all by yourself.
Interesting. Hopefully in the future we see some new LEGO themes that are similar to the old classic themes. It's been a while since we had an adventurers theme or an secret agents theme. I just looked at some pictures of the classic LEGO Zam and I'm surprised she has a double sided face. I guess you could do a neat minifigure display to show both sides of Zam's face. I see. What material were those sails made of? I don't remember if LEGO used to do cloth sails. Hopefully other sellers would be more willing to take a picture of their goods.
That'd be quite annoying if the commute ended up being annoying. Would you rather take public transportation or drive your own car to work?
Good point - I barely pay attention to the non licensed themes. I'm excited to buy some of the upcoming Boba Fett sets, though. Guess I should build some of what I already have first... However, first I am committed to sorting the loose LEGO I've got sitting around. NG is coming today, maybe she'll want to build something.
And yes, that minifig was one of the first to have the double sided head, along with some from Harry Potter. I'm really baffled that LEGO hasn't made another Zam... maybe they will this year for the 20th anniversary? The scene she's in is definitely one of the more iconic ones from the prequels.
The sails are like this cloth / fabric hybrid... more cloth like than the modern cape pieces. I have 2 of the fright knight flags, so I believe the texture matches, from what I can tell looking at pictures.
Since I don't have a car, I have to rely on transport. It's pretty easy for me to get to the train station, and still fairly easy enough to get to the metro stop, so if I could get something on either the train or metro routes I wouldn't mind it much. I hate the bus though, I would not want to have a commute via bus. In the long run, I honestly wouldn't mind taking the train to work, especially if I was working somewhere like DC, NYC, or Boston, where living in the city just isn't worth it for a guy like me who likes his square footage.
I see. I haven't seen the new Boba Fett series yet, but the sets do look pretty promising. Nice to get Jabba The Hutt's palace, haven't seen that as a LEGO set in a while. I know I'm late, but hopefully you and NG had a good time buliding LEGO.
To my understanding, Zam was only in one scene of the second Star Wars movie so she doesn't seem as significant as other Star Wars characters that have more appearances. I think LEGO Zam was released when the second Star Wars movie came out, so it made sense to make a minifigure of her at the time. Hopefully they consider remaking the set she came in.
Ooh, very neat. Perhaps something similar to a thin canvas, or some material that can be easily manipulated and durable.
That's a good choice. Taking the metro seems like the easiest form of transport, especially since you don't have to fight traffic or parking. I can understand about the buses, sometimes they aren't the cleanest and they still get stuck in traffic. At the end the price of all the metro commutes overtime would balance out to owning a car including maintenance, but metro seems the most convenient for sure.
Thankfully I did. Sometimes I bring the Benadryl to work in case I get bug bites there. It was especially bad when I got seven bug bites on one arm.
Neither do I. I have the patience for some tedious things, but not waiting for random chance to be in my favor. I could, though the rear-view mirror part may look blurry, but hopefully enough to see if there is someone behind me. That's a good way to look at it. I have to predict the weather from what's south of where I am, though sometimes the weather doesn't move up north. Indeed. Warm-looking but chilly-feeling.
Thanks! I may have missed out on the discounted chocolates, but I'm sure they'll be discounted again soon. Did you get any discounted chocolates?
That's quite the occupational hazard you got there. Itchy arms are very inconvenient when you're trying to do stuff.
The other option is to just get really good at video editing so it just looks like a single take. Just enough to spot a blob from the corner of your eye. It's always frustrating when the weather decides to go a different direction last minute. Can really throw off your plans.
Easter clearance approaches. Nah, I had class all day and was too tired to go afterwards
Agreed. I probably went through a box of bandages in a week or two. I even made my own paper-towel glove to keep those bandages in place.
Ah yes, the easy way, which probably saves a lot of time and resources. Yep, just enough to see someone. Indeed, one hour it'll be bright and sunny and the next hour it'll be dark and rainy.
Oh yeah, I forgot about Easter chocolates. That'll be the opportune time. That's alright. Seems like the plan for most of us anyway.
Yep, the way everything keeps fluctuating makes it really hard to get plans nailed down Good luck to you on that! Nice, prom is fun. Are you going to a public school one or homeschool one?
That is so true! Thanks! I hope so. Homeschool.
Cool, I went to a public school one but my friend went to homeschool prom a couple times and always came back full of interesting tales

I see. That's quite inventive
Yep, hopefully they had the technology for that smooth of editing back in the eighties. Wish the weather would make up its mind and stick to a consistent weather type.
Lots of jelly beans too. Definitely a good time for candy acquisition. Hopefully Easter will play out differently since it isn't on a weekday.
