On a barely related note can we please know how Vazrudakann's skakdi are so unnaturally happy and calm when Reidak arguing with a police officer started a war that obliterated an island Just curious cus that really appears absurdly calm for skakdi
They've all been exposed to Vazrudakaan's pain vision. Their fear of being tortured outweighs their will to misbehave.
Uh, no. That's not how it works. No Skakdi would become so docile just from that. If anything, they would band together and destroy Vazrudakann.

I... Hmm. That might actually work on the majority. Clever.

Erm... I feel like a Skakdi's base reaction to fear is SMASH SMASH SMASH
and, again, they'd likely band together. Even still, they would never be as obnoxiously happy and cheerful as they are.
As it is Vazrudakann's staff AMPLIFIES his vision powers, allowing him to affect several beings at once. Even if his entire population were to turn on him, he'd be able to effectively paralyze the majority of his would-be attackers.
Not to mention that he also possesses a mild charisma power to help things along.
"Thank you for the weapons." The toa begin to leave with the wagons of supplies.
Svin gives the Nynrah a wicked grin. "If you'd stop arguing over trivial OOC things in this topic, you probably wouldn't be exterminated by the Brotherhood later on. See you then, losers!"

That seems quite OP, able to affect an entire species, that isn't even a hive-mind where it'd make more sense.

Any who attempt to destroy them, find themselves with a phase dagger in their chests, or some other device.

I'd imagine stronger species would be able to resist the effect.
Besides -- without his staff, he loses the same level of power he might've had.

The cordak are brought out
*Having dealt with Ornirax...kinda...Kuhtak reappears, though his reappearance goes entirely unnoticed due to still having his mask power activated. Naturally assuming that that the Matoran with the the Cordak Blasters pointed at him is the cause of the conflict, he uses Sleep on him. While they would not be able to directly look at Kuhtak, the use of what appears to be a Makuta power would alert them to the presence of a Makuta nearby.*
