If any were to watch, they would see an old Skadi limping up to the Makuta outpost and banging it with his stick.
The stick is vaporized due to a nasty trap that a paranoid Ornirax installed a few decades ago after some Skakdi vandalized his fortress.
After this, the gate opens. Several Rahkshi and Exo-Toa suits move around inside. A Rahkshi glares at the Skakdi, and accidentally freezes him in a Stasis Field. An Exo-Toa approaches the Skakdi and replays a pre-recorded message.
"My master is not here. He is away on urgent business. I am not allowed to tell you where he is or what he is doing. You must leave now or I will be forced to trigger the traps in this room. I don't want to do that; you seem like a nice person. Please leave before my programming forces me to smash you.
As the Skakdi is incapable of leaving at this time, the Exo-Toa continues talking.
"You may be wondering how I am speaking to you. My master told me 'I tinkered with you to give you speech functions and vocal capabilities. If you annoy me with your new functions, I will scatter your atoms across Zakaz.' I was so proud that I would be given the honor of having my atoms spread across Zakaz. I decided that it might inconvenience to cause him to scatter my atoms across Zakaz, so I have not yet annoyed him with my speech functions.
"Now, please leave before my programming forces me to smash you."
The being shifts; a Makuta is revealed before him.
''Release me! I am a...friend of Ornirax's, and am here by his invitation. He will be most displeased if you do not release me.''

"I am deeply sorry that you cannot move. Unfortunately, I am only an Exo-Toa and therefore I am not suited to such tasks.
"Normally, I would accept you as a friend, but my master has overridden my programming and commanded me to treat all Makuta, with the exception of him, as enemies. Again, I am sorry, but I have no choice."
The Exo-Toa ushers everyone out of the courtyard. He then triggers the trap underneath Vindurax, causing a large blast of energy to fire at the Makuta's feet.
OOC: Note: the Rahkshi who froze Vindurax had a Stage 4 Kraata of Stasis Fields. The Stasis wears off decently fast.

A blade suddenly appears in the robot, having been thrown from a distance. The robot is thoroughly skewered and its circuits are exposed and frayed from the hole that was created by the blade. A hulking Makuta walks past the Skakdi, and retrieves the blade, which glows purple upon being reunited with the weapon it was thrown from.
"First mistake, Ornirax: fleeing from me. Second mistake, Ornirax: using a machine as your first line of defense. Third mistake, Ornirax: Crossing The Brotherhood. Fourth mistake, Ornirax: Still being alive. None of these mistakes I can control or correct, except, curiously, that last one."
The Makuta's solid form quickly dissolves into a haze of smoke, though still bearing the same silhouette, and walks through the room: intangible, untouchable. Any creature or entity that attempts to resist is invariably blown away from a shadow bolt coming from a random point in space.

''How delightful.''
Vindurax uses his limited invunerability to prevent the blast from injuring him. Ornirax's guards are placed in stasis fields themselves. Vindurax waits until the field around him wears off, at which point he attempts to enter.

One of Corathe's skakdi watches from a distance using his vision power.
