The twenty skakdi return, and Seeelk reports to Corathe.
Corathe scowls. There was little chance of getting the Nynrahn's help now, and the only other option was Xia. Seeelk cowers at the expression, expecting death or some other punishment as Corathe opens her mouth to speak. "I hope you know that this is a grave error, Seeelk. This failure has cost us the possibility of leaps and bounds in technology." Seeelk shrinks further. "But. The error was not yours; it was that of the aggressive matoran. As such, you will not be punished today." Seeelk brightens and cautiously stands. He remains silent, unsure of how to respond. "Do not expect such lenience in the future. Go."
Seeelk returns to his... group? Squad? Den? That sounds good. Den of Skakdi.

Their scouts (if any) detect a blue and black armored titan approaching their fortress.

Quantarix fails to get in contact with the makuta. He takes this as confirmation that the government is controlling people's minds, and decides that he must get away from this den of mental erosion. He and his two hench-skakdi go to leave on a boat, and as they reach the docks they are approached by a shady, four-armed skakdi. They accept his request to join them, and the group leaves Zakaz.
If any were to watch, they would see an old Skadi limping up to the Makuta outpost and banging it with his stick.
The stick is vaporized due to a nasty trap that a paranoid Ornirax installed a few decades ago after some Skakdi vandalized his fortress.
After this, the gate opens. Several Rahkshi and Exo-Toa suits move around inside. A Rahkshi glares at the Skakdi, and accidentally freezes him in a Stasis Field. An Exo-Toa approaches the Skakdi and replays a pre-recorded message.
"My master is not here. He is away on urgent business. I am not allowed to tell you where he is or what he is doing. You must leave now or I will be forced to trigger the traps in this room. I don't want to do that; you seem like a nice person. Please leave before my programming forces me to smash you.
As the Skakdi is incapable of leaving at this time, the Exo-Toa continues talking.
"You may be wondering how I am speaking to you. My master told me 'I tinkered with you to give you speech functions and vocal capabilities. If you annoy me with your new functions, I will scatter your atoms across Zakaz.' I was so proud that I would be given the honor of having my atoms spread across Zakaz. I decided that it might inconvenience to cause him to scatter my atoms across Zakaz, so I have not yet annoyed him with my speech functions.
"Now, please leave before my programming forces me to smash you."
