The Skakdi enters, seeking for any evidence of Kratark.
Assuming the being has any knowledge of who or what Kratark is, the building is very much his style. And he's definitely been here -- but he is not. A beast roams the halls, licking its chops.
"Hmmm." Without warning, the Skakdi vanishes and a Toa of Magnetism appears in his place. Said being advances cautiously.

Two purple eyes flash by the Toa so fast that he swears he saw it but doesn't believe he did at the same time. There is a rather large presence here, but it is too dark to see very far, and the beast itself is surprisingly silent for its apparent size.

A massive Rahi appears where the Toa was standing. Just as it is about to attack, it growls, as if distracted, then vanishes.

Under the influence of a mask of charisma, a massive, hulking brute suddenly appeared on Zakaz, and began to tear up the island. His immense strength decimated the already ruined island, the last bastion of Skakdi culture yet stood though -- Vazrudakann's fortress. Vazrudakann controlled the majority of what was left of the Skakdi race, and he intended to keep things that way. Seeing no other course of action, he commanded that a large fleet of boats be made to transport the Skakdi to a new land, one where they would be able to properly prosper.
It would have to be a weak and corrupt place, one where they could swoop in and decimate an unprepared enemy.

Makuta Zenila appears, which is unusual, for she holds no love for Zakaz. Yet, the gleam in her green-black eyes suggests something else. She walks across the island, with each step, vegetation begins to grow. "A new garden.. A new paradise." She makes her way towards the lake, filling the island with growth.
"Impure." She notes, looking at the lake. She waves her hand, before using her index finger to swirl the air, purifying the land. By using gravity to carry out the impurities.. She smiles, continuing to turn the once desolate island of Zakaz into a new paradise.

Of note, is that the area surrounding Kratark's fortress resists any sort of purification. Plants refuse to grow, and the ground refuses to become un-blackened.

Zenila let's it go, for now. While yes, she could force the plants to grow, if the seed of life does not take root, she shall not force it. She continues her progress of turning Zakaz into a paradise. A few stray Skakdi, who serve nobody, attempt to attack her.

She devours them whole, absorbing them.
Unbeknownst to Zenila, the doorway to Kratark's fortress flashes a distinct purple with each one of these deaths.

One admirer journeys from the shore to to the heart of the growth, marveling at the flora that seemed to dot every square bio.

Zenila senses the admirer, but doesn't stop them. Provided this fellow doesn't harm the flora, Zenila would not retaliate.

"Marvelous... but off balance." Toa Borilil pondered the root of all the growth around her. No group of skakdi would ever dedicate their powers to beauty, so the source was of foreign ground. Few of the plants were native to Zakaz, so whoever sprouted them wasn't favoring the natural cycle. A mistake like this hadn't happened since the Skakdi were given powers. In some sort of effort to help, a Makuta was probably responsible. But if it was Makuta, wouldn't that imply a knowledge on balancing ecosystems? The complete rewrite of Zakaz's current nature was probably intended... if it was Makuta.

A presence enters Borilil's mind. "You are very adept. Yes, this is not Zakaz's natural ecosystem. I am completely rewriting Zakaz over. It's previous ecosystem was a mess. Don't worry, no flora shall go extinct, I will send the natives from this isle to the Southern Islands, I have a barren island which could use them."

...might I ask why, Makuta? Why commit to such a noble and seemingly unprofitable cause?
