OOC: Why was Vazrudakann worried when meeting Corathe?
I also very much like this post. Vazrudakann is actually thinking things out. He knows that there's a possibility of an uprising, and he knows that fear doesn't last forever: But if they are truly loyal, that will. Also, the 'you are disturbingly, wiser, than any Skakdi I've seen." "Indeed." part made me bust out laughing. Really like this post
OOC: Because she's a warlord with a massive fanon army and he wasn't sure his army of regular, fair, canon Skakdi wouldn't be able to compete Also because she seemed ready to go to war regardless of any offer he made.
My only concern is how sane I allow him to be at any given moment (mostly due to whiplash from you wanting to have Corathe use Kanohi ) I think it is important to highlight the fact that even though Vazrudakann can put on a smile and fake some charm, he cannot stand disorder, and would go ballistic the moment things didn't go his way, especially after how well things have been going for him so far. To Vazrudakann, losing his kingdom would be a fate worse than being confronted by Irnakk.
He is insane. He is undisciplined. He just has different triggers for his bellicose nature.
OOC: Not all of it's fanon, but he should have been worried... Seeing how she could rekt him
Again, it's not me wanting. Corathe can use them, RR is just.. Choosing not to.
Makuta Kratark sat upon a charred and blackened throne. It did not appeared ruined, on the contrary, it was masterfully crafted. However, there is something to be said for the coloration of the throne, which contrasted against the throne's otherwise flawless shape.
The room itself was poorly lit, and this was sort of the point: one does not simply oppose a Makuta while it is in its natural element.
Kratark was all powerful on Zakaz. He could do on the island as he pleased.
Unfortunately, he pleased to do nothing, which was a problem.
Boredom struck Kratark as painfully as an open flame could. He would have to rectify this.
A dark, writhing smoke began to form and coalesce in some corner of the room, quickly rushing for and wrapping around Kratark's legs. The Makuta stood up from his throne, even as the smoke continued to wrap around him, and he soon vanished.
Consequently, a large machine of some sort began to lift off from the surface of Zakaz, and sped off into the night.

A group of vulture like rahi, the ferocious Keres, search for any survivors of the Nova Blast, to feed. The fact that they were on Zakaz...
To the north of the island, in the former kingdom of Kylla and Kyrel, an ancient tomb has been unearthed. Within the tomb, a dark, malevolent, silver-clad figure broods. He raps his fingers against the armrest of his stone throne, the other hand holding his face up. "Dhakira is no fool. Ruya's binds weaken. Marama Kaha slumbers beneath Karzahni, which is most likely why Dhakira dwells on that accursed island.. An island that should have rightfully been mine!" He growls, his fingers piercing the stone. "I was supposed to rule Karzahni, not that pathetic fool!" He snarls darkly. The throne regenerates, back to it's pristine, former self. "However, with Ruya's slow, yet steady waking, Eadala stirs for the first time... Shame she did not fight the first time around.. Which does explain how they easily captured her in that mountain." Visions flash in his eyes, of the past. A rebellion.. A betrayal.. A grave war, yet hidden. The death of Umuma, followed by Dhakira's betrayal. Zaman's fury, only to be brought down by that.. That.. That apprentice! The very same who struck down beloved Shuhra! Then they had the nerve to kill Kawkaba, poor Kawkaba, despite him being imprisoned.. Using the name 'Najima' to distance themselves from the heinous act in which they had commited!
The tomb trembles, the fury of the being growing, as it remembers the painful battle. After a time, the trembling desists, as the figure pants, tears streaking down the figure's face, with no sounds escaping. Aemida was still alive, imprisoned, in pain, but alive. Muhit and Mawja were hard to pinpoint, but were still alive, although Muhit was barely alive. Zilallayl alive and well, in her relatively luxurious prison.. May the Great Beings smite Dhakira for her betrayal! Zaman.. He was always a tricky one to pinpoint.. Yet, from what the being could tell, Zaman was both alive and dead.
"Thaqiba.. Ruya is quickly weakening her binds.." A voice echoed inside the being's, now known as Thaqiba's, mind. "They are approaching the final quarter."
Thaqiba chuckles sinisterly. At long last.. His ascension is at hand!
A Skakdi warlady named Vakryz returns to Zakaz after a brief stint in the south. She rallies her earth tribe forces, and inquires as to the state of Zakaz

OOC: All the skakdi on Zakaz got violently burnt to death via nova blast. Only a small handful managed to escape, including Kylla, Vazrudakann (I think), Corathe, everyone in her palace, and that seems to be about it.
And yes, I have a reason on why Thaqiba is still alive, and not just because I want him to

Vakryz is lucky she came with a small contingent of Earth Skakdi. It would seem her tribe has just won the war.
She has her men go to work gathering up all the progenitor machines across the island, and set to work rebuilding the species totally as Earth Tribe loyalists.

OOC: 'seem' heh
IC: They find pretty much everything on the island is charred rubble and worthless, unless they venture north, and find the Crypt.
OOC: You are not recreating Foros Also, that doesn't even make sense, if you are talking about Skakdi. There are no elemental tribes, just warlords. And the majority of Skakdi are now extinct.

OOC: I'm not trying to recreate Foros, I agree that wouldn't make any sense. Huh, I could've sworn skakdi owed allegiance to elemental factions, but I guess it really doesn't matter.
IC: Luckily, Vakryz and her earth skakdi had underground fortresses where they kept their weapons and progenitors. While no doubts the other forts around the island are destroyed, this one is not.

OOC: Not really. But a warlord could start a faction of elemental allegiance.
IC: Except of course, the Crypt. Please investigate the Crypt.

Happy with the steadily building Skakdi army, Vakryz and two bodyguards decide to investigate the north of the island. They find the crypt, and are confused by it.

IC: They find a simple golden disk, jutting out of the surface. Runes cover it in circles. A large onyx gleams in the center. They find a few Keres circling around the vault in the sky.
OOC: If you've ever seen Once Upon A Time, or care to google it, think of The Dark One's Vault
