He jumped a supprising hight and rolled on Tahtorak's snout down to one of his sides. From the other side, a volley of iron bolts struck the Makuta's nose and mouth. Finally, Amakka threw a swift and mighty fist right into the Brotherhood member, sending him directly into an invisible being.
Tahtorak's massive jaw snaps shut on the combatant's legs. He then thrashes his head at high speeds left and right in an effort to cause his opponent to lose its wits. He also attempts to slash the combatant with his armblade while he's at it.
OOC: ...what? Who in their right mind would use a living monster's lower jaw as a step ladder?
IC: Amakka used dodge! It is very effective! The earlier move happens.

No amount of twisting -- not even a Makuta Hunter's acrobatics, would allow them to have simply jump out of the path of Tahtorak's massive maw like this, especially when it was going at that speed.
Teridax could dissolve Kaita fusions. I imagine this ability is similar, the shadows are merely a conduit.
Kaita dissolution is not a Shadow based power, it is derived from the destructive nature of Makuta.
That said, Shadow could be used as a solid wall to catch the energy. It can also be used to trap heat and light ("Time Trap" with the Karzahni plant and Teridax), and consequently energy. Theoretically, since Bionicle is also comic book physics, two opposing energy blasts cancel eachother out with a bang, so a shadow bolt could be able to stop an energy blast.
Hence, the shadows are merely a conduit.
See, Mrcqm wouldn't let me do the first one, though.

...I'm not going to drop the "n" word (that being "null") just yet, but I must point out that these are projectiles, not a fusion
And even so, a Makuta's ability to cause a fusion to dissolve simply returns the fusion to its base components. As these are energy projectiles she's dealing with, a wall of shadows is going to be passed through.

I can say the exact same thing in reverse.

No, what I meant to say was that I could say that no amount of jaw snapping could allow for the Makuta/beast to nullify such a flawless Dodge executed by a Makuta in a body built specifically for agility and strength. We might have a problem if Tahtorak was using Accuracy, though.

You realise, of course, that Tahtorak would not have attacked a fellow Makuta, roight?

That was what you replied with, but we can go back.
IC: The silver combatant turned. His red gaze burned against the makuta, though he was careful not to make eye contact. "You take orders from fools who think themselves kings." His hearing was directed elsewhere to predict where his opponent might be hiding. "Join me, brother, and the Makuta will be made fools no more."
OOC2: YJF, I will make a second responce to Asjere's massive projectile assault as soon as mrcqm replies. You may post, but do not have to until either Makuta Tahtorak acts on one of your RPCs, or I reply to mrcqm's responce.

Tahtorak is confused at first with the Silver Combatant's insult to him but doesn't know any better but to help him fight YJF's character. Which he does, with all the previous posts.

He is restrained by blistering light, of a silvery color. Madame Mane's eyes are brightly glowing, furiously. "Enough of this. You have disrespected us enough. Begone lest I make you." She sneers at Tahtorak.

"See, the problem with that is..."
He breaks free through brute strength, and sheer force of will.
"You can't make us."
The Makuta, via right of being a huge powerhouse, shoots YJF's characters with lightning blasts, likely rendering his defiant enemies unable to act.

The energy flexes, before dissipating. Sekhmet and Mane look at each other, eyes glowing in glee.
And Tahtorak is promptly hit with enough light, plasma and fire that it could kill Teridax ten times over.
Oh, and those lightning bolts are redirected by Asejure, who flings them at Tahtorak, but since she's invisible, he can't figure out where she is.

A pocket of real, Elemental Shadow consumed the light. Plasma and fire could be resisted, unless Tahtorak was even more brakas then people thought.
Using his superb hearing, Makuta Amakka pinpointed Asejure's location and shot across the arena like a bullet, his fist destined to collide with her kanohi milliseconds after he took off.

*cough*
I mean, Tahtorak isn't necessarily dead, but he isn't unscathed, that's all I was saying.
The perks of a Volitak; practically completely silent
