Eric simply moves out of the cloud, allowing him to dodge the hit and not have his staff stolen. He then opens a portal, and the blast from Stormchaser’s chest launcher flies towards him. If it hits it could possibly ignite the flammable antidermis.
(The cloud has an idea and floats away) (Stormchaser is caught in the net, but simply cuts himself out of it with his Rotating blades. He then starts jumping towards and awaying from Eric at a fast pace, slashing at every chance)
Eric backs away at each strike, firing shadow bolts when Stormchaser retreats. He occasionally takes a glancing blow, but nothing major.

(Considering how weak the shadow bolts are, Stormchaser blocks them with his rotating blades, this does make his movement slower, however)
(Stormchaser is hit by a few and is now severely weakened. He weakly walks over to Eric to try to hit him with his blades.)
Eric steps out of the way, and swings his staff at Stormchaser's head, turning the end into that of a heavy mace.
(Stormchaser falls to the ground. He is breathing heavily and seems unable to continue fighting)
(A Rorzahk walks into the room. It seemd badly damaged and is limping. Only one of it’s staffs looks functional and it’s disk launcher is broken. It somehow speaks in a broken, mechanical voice.)

“I’m lost, so a guide out would be appreciated.” He turns the spear back into the staff.
"Thank... you..." (He get's Eric to carry Stormchaser as he leads him out)

Eric doesn’t want to carry the dead body, so he leaves it. He assures the Vahki that it’ll be there when it comes back, and even fuses the legs together into a pillar to prove the point.

Eric sees something of interest on Stormchaser. “Hey Vahki, can you come over here?” He beckons for the Vahki to come over.

(It limps over to Eric)
Once it limps next to Eric, something might’ve triggered some sort of warning that something was off. Maybe it was the fact that there wasn’t anything actually off about the body. But by that time Eric had already turned its body to sand, and its head was soon to follow.
”Good grief, he really doesn’t know when to give up.” Eric says, turning his staff into a large axe. He then lopes off Stormchaser’s head, ending his suffering. Whether out done out of mercy or spite is unknown.
