Nikan uses mind reading to tell where Eric is before the portal closes.
The weapons bounce off the Protosteel.
He finds that Eric didn’t have any specific location in mind, focusing what he could on simply escaping. However as Eric passed the portal he, and consequently Nikan, saw large carvings and a dry enviroment, extrememly similar to Po-Metru. Probably due to the fact it was Po-Metru.

A thunderous noise is heard above the massive, sprawling Archives. It starts out faint and far away to those within it's depths, but quickly grows louder and louder until they not only hear it but can physically feel it. Eventually it's source is revealed as a stampede of innumerable, towering golems that rip apart anything and everything in their wake.

Once the Archives had been purged of any Matoran or Rahi unfortunate enough to be down there, the entire area began glowing a dark purple.
And then... it just stood up.
With a groan, a gargantuan transformation began taking place. The hollow tunnels caved in on themselves, their rocky structure compressing into one, indiscernible mass. This structure piled on top of itself again and again, a massive chunk of the metru coalescing into a gargantuan pillar of rock that stretched towards the sky; its shadow overtook whatever small remnants of the metru hadn't already been assimilated. Its base split in half, molding into twin, thick legs. Two rocky arms emerged from its sides, dangling lazily. Soon, they were joined by a massive, lizard-like head that sprouted from the center of the rocky mass, it's bright-purple eyes the only source of color in the dull gray behemoth. Finally, a tail formed, slamming against the ground behind the creature with enough force to send shockwaves ripping through the city.
Now, the Archives were but a crater, a birthing grounds for the gargantuan creature that now stepped out of it. Completely made of rock, this golem was far greater than any before it, dwarfing the small, crimson figure standing on its shoulder as it lumbered out of the Metru.

OOC: Can we not turn the entire Archives, which actually spans across Metru Nui in its entirety I believe, into a golem? KllyTheAnn

OOC: Then at the very least it's a massive chunk of what is directly below Onu Metru if that would be better.

What? How?
Voidarix has control over earth through his axes, notably in the creation of golems. With seemingly no one in the metru to stop him, he could slowly build up power to turn a massive chunk of the earth into a singular, towering golem.
