And now, my second character. She will be another one of my three main characters, but the third character is still in development.
Name: Arwyr
Species: Toa
Element: Lightning
Powers: Toa Arwyr is exceptionally agile, and has developed a kinship with an Ash Bear during her time in the Southern Chains.
Kanohi: Great Sanok
Weapons: Arwyr carries a unique polearm designed by the Nynrah Ghosts at the request of the Great Beings. It is made with protosteel that was specially treated by the craftsmen to be as light as possible while retaining its strength. The shaft is black, and ends in a spearhead. It also features two wing-like blue blades, opposite each other on the shaft.
Appearance: Toa Arwyr’s armor is a dark blue with black detailing on the shoulders. Her Kanohi is the same blue, and she uses it in coordination with her lightning powers.
Personality: Arwyr is dedicated to one thing: defending the village she had been created to defend. If anything would happen to that village, she would repay the one who did it tenfold.
Backstory: Arwyr was created by the Great Beings many years ago, and she was given the mission of defending a Vo-Matoran village. For what reason she did not know, but she would perform the task to the best of her ability.
Do you think it'd be too much of a stretch to say Emarcee was the one who commissioned her polearm? He is the patron of all staves, polearms, and spears. Especially when paired with lightning powers Another thing -- would to be too much of a stretch if she were to defend the island Volek is living on right now?
Small note however: physical agility, and friendship with an ash bear do not count as powers. The ash bear would probably be better mentioned in backstory, and her agility mentioned as a physical trait or ability.
And now, my second character. She will be another one of my three main characters, but the third character is still in development.
Name: Arwyr, the Sky-daughter and Bringer of Light
Species: Toa

Talents: Toa Arwyr is exceptionally agile, nearing the talents of a Le-Matoran or Air Toa.
Kanohi: Great Sanok in the shape of a Kakama Nuva.

It is made with protosteel that was specially treated by the craftsmen to be as light as possible while retaining its strength. The shaft is black, and ends in a spearhead. It also features two blades in the shape of wings, opposite each other on the shaft.

Backstory: Arwyr was created by the Great Beings many years ago, and she was given the mission of defending a Vo-Matoran village. For what reason she did not know, but she would perform the task to the best of her ability.
Several decades ago, she defended the village against a Kikanalo rampage. However, very few beings can ward off an angry Kikanalo herd by themselves. The battle wore down her elemental power, until she could no longer summon lightning. There was little time to regenerate the energy, so she resorted to pure melee combat. It was there that she was completely run over by a Kikanalo.
She lay unconscious and near death, several miles from the village. Her Kanohi had shattered, and her life force was slowly leaving her. But someone was watching over her that night, and she somehow was spared that awful fate. Arwyr awoke in the morning, and had never felt better. There were Kikanalo hoof-prints everywhere, but it was mixed with a myriad of other substances. The first thing she noticed was that a tree had fallen.
Upon further examination, she noticed that something had sliced straight through it. Another tree appeared to have been burned with some substance, and the ground around it looked poisoned. She scratched her head, and withdrew it in shock. Her Kanohi was whole again, and felt different. Quickly, she removed it. It not her Sanok, but it was something else. She did not know what it was, how it got there, or what it did. It felt the same as her Sanok mask, but it looked unmistakably different.
An idea came upon her suddenly, and she acted on it. Arwyr picked up a stone and searched for a target. She aimed at a small knot on a tree quite far away, and threw the stone. It hit the knot square in the middle. The mask she wore was a Sanok, but in a new form. She turned towards the village and saw something that took her breath away. It was a beautiful polearm, the blades perfectly crafted to resemble a bird in flight. She lifted it into the air, and lightning leaped from the sky to strike it. The weapon glowed blue, and writing appeared on the shaft. It read "Kawea Avohkii" Bring light. It was a worthy mission for a Toa, and she would act on this motto for the rest of her life.
When she returned to the village, she was told that she had been missing for three days. They had searched the island for five kios in every direction, but found nothing save the site of the battle.
Arwyr did not understand what had happened, but she was thankful for it. If she could find the one who did this, she would be in his debt. She was a new Toa, and she had a new mission.

Yes, it would be. Her backstory requires someone else to commission the polearm.
No, that's not a stretch. Just make sure it's not the same village or Volek will meet an untimely end. (I've got her story arc planned out)
OK, I'll change that. I think I'll actually cut the Ash Bear out completely, and replace him with someone different.

Name: Diode
Species: Vortixx
Kanohi: Calix, Kualsi
Powers: Diode has strange electrical powers. Perhaps because of fate, or destiny, or perhaps because of the cybernetic enhancements she had grafted beneath her skin. Oh, and she can sonic scream because of cybernetic enhancements in her mouth. Fun!
Weapons: Diode has a custom made pair of twin scythes, with the powers of all the Matoran Resistance tools. She also has a pair of Griffin Gauntlets. Fun!
Appearance: Diode looks like..Well, think Lynna, except black and blue.
Personality: Diode is devious, cunning and sly. She looks after herself, first and foremost, and is quite cowardly when facing a foe she cannot face. As such, Diode uses her alliance with Makuta Toxica to her advantage.
Backstory: Diode is a Vortixx. She's cunning. Oh, and she's sorta friends with Makuta Toxica, providing a mutually beneficial alliance between the two. Due to said alliance, Diode became ludicrously rich quickly, as well as Toxica having Makuta scientists give her cybernetic enhancements.
Other: Diode is the 2iC of the Vortixx, according to VF who beat me to leader position, only because I was in school!

Er... waittaminute. If her backstory requires someone else to commission the polearm, why did you change it to say that Emarcee commissioned it? Ooh, well, I have no plans for Volek's village to get ransacked
Appearance: Unknown, just assume he looks similar to whatever Kalmah looked like pre-mutation.
Powers and Weapons: Anrobroid has no powers of his own, relying on his on his skills, weapons, and mask. His weapons in particular is a strange two hand sword that is a blend between typical Protodermic metal and Razor Crystals, making it incredible sharp and able to easily tear through Toa armor and tissue. The Mask of Earth he wears grants him the ability to control dirt.
Personality: Cautious, expecting betrayal or spies at every turn. Ruthless in combat and always seeming to be looking for something.
Background: Just showed up one day and served briefly in the military of the League of Six Kingdoms until they were destroyed. Looking for something to do now.

AJTAZT!!!!
There be no need for shouting. Besides, as Kepler's Personal Hitman, I'm only here to keep certain users in line. :tounge:
Name: Eviice Species: Skakdi Gender: Apache Attack Helicopter Male Powers: He has the power to manipulate Hau shields similar to hardlight, x-ray vision, and has a somewhat robotic exo-suit with built-in flight capabilities. He carries twin Midak Skyblasters, but can swap them out for Hau-shard gatling guns if the going gets rough. Backstory: While other Skakdi focused on brutal warmongering and fighting, Eviice simply found joy in inventing. Eventually, he got noticed by the OOMN for his achievements and inducted him. Now, he serves as both a medic and a scientist for the Order, though he's not afraid to fight if he needs to.
Mask: Kanohi Hau Powers: Strong mental shielding. Corvus possesses the ability to use non-elemental shadow. Electricity(See equipment). Equipment: Corvus is a master at bladed weaponry, and as such typically does not use projectile weapons. He possesses two electrical gauntlets that allow him to send bolts of electricity at a target. He also wields a staff that, while a fairly dangerous weapon in and of itself, can be used to amplify the electricity from the gauntlets and launched via the staff.
History: Corvus is a being with a history unknown to inhabitants of his current universe. After fleeing from a Nanite based experiment in his home world, he spent years hoping from dimensions to dimension trying to escape. Eventually he made it to one that managed to stave of the Nanite invasion and destroy them. Seeing that universe as a place unfit for him to remain, he traveled to a simpler universe where in he could have a more open future. Here he found that the Vortixx were still female rules and subsequently developed the prototype of his Electric Staff which gave him the edge needed to over throw the Xian Monarch. He has since ruled as leader of the Vortixx, overseeing advancements in technology and development.

1. Manipulate Hau shields? That's awfully specific. Please elaborate.
2. Midak skyblasters and any other weapons belong in the weapons field.

No to the shadow as it is unexplained.
Also, most Vortixx do not wear Kanohi. Though they are physically able to, and can also use their powers, it is not common practice.
I also take issue with his backstory: because even though he is a Vortixx, it assumes he is an alien from another world.

I can understand no to the shadow and am fine without that. The kanohi is uncommon for a Vortixx, but like you said, it is possible. But could you elaborate on why being from an alternate universe is an issue?
