OK, my bad, I thought is was going to take a few turns.
I know what it is, a chain across the harbor entrance. Now, in every mention of a chain across the harbor entrance in books I have read it has always been visible to ships trying to enter. Either it can be seen on the surface of the water or you will see massive chains trailing into water from towers on either side of the harbor. This is because it acts as more of a deterrant, as, I believe that if a ship hit it while going at full speed, although the ship would be sunk, the chain would most likely either be snapped or damaged heavily. I know it doesn't sound possible, but I watched an incredibly thick chain get snapped by something that looked like it could never snap it. (This was with my own eyes) I don't have a problem with it existing, but a post saying that it is put in place or that it exists would also be necessary.
Well, if you want it to take a few turns, that's fine.
I did say that it existed. Look at my post on May 2 when my ships first arrived.
And might I say again that I am deeply sorry for the Thrawn incident. It was a terrible mistake.
Nah, I'll be OK
Oh...I'm pretty sure Shamrock looked and missed it too Sorry. Regardless, I actually didn't plan on having my ships enter the Harbor because I expected you to have a pile of archers there to wreck my ships So, I basically just argued something, got proved wrong and then realised it didn't matter
Ah, it's OK. We weren't going to say anything, but then I noticed you seemed to know all of my plans and were acting based on them After that I made all my plans with Sham in our mod chat

*All Siege ships here continue to bombard the city and break down the wall.* *15 Battleships, 7 Frigates and 12 Destroyers leave for the Open Sea*
The Siege Ships, as well as other ships, are struck by some of the blind fire coming from the battleships behind the wall.
*The siege ships sail further back from the harbor gate/chain, out of range of your battleships and continue to bombard the wall. It is now quite damaged, and the towers on which the harbor gate/chain is attached are beginning to collapse at the top* *My battleships use the projectile of your battleship's shots to launch bolts and boulders over the wall at them, with some degree of success. After lauching 2-3 volleys they sail back out of your range*
OOC: Because your battleships are firing at a very high angle (To clear the wall) their range is greatly reduced, therfore I can quite comfortably fire at the harbor wall without getting hit.

What do you mean by "the projectile of their shots"? If you're talking about trajectory, I doubt that Umbarians are advanced enough to do such things.
*The surviving battleships sail in front of the gate, fire several shots, and return to their position behind the wall*
OOC: As the wall falls apart, it will become easier for my ships to hit you.

OOC: Oops, I meant trajectory It's pretty simple actually, you fire at where their projectiles are coming from
*My ships notice quickly and launch a barrage of flaming projectiles at them as they fire their shots. My ships also keep moving to reduce the chances of your ships hitting them* *The wall is even more damaged now, and my ships can take more accurate shots at yours*
OOC: And vice-versa, except I have twice as many ships

Now, you should think of a move

The ships continue firing to the last, determined to do as much damage as possible before they are sunk.
The siege engines are removed from the surviving frigates and taken into the city. The frigates are then scuttled.

*Your battleships manage to take out a few of my destroyers and a couple of frigates, but most of my ships survive due to the sheer number of them. Most of them have sustained some degree of damage*
*My ships see this over the crumbling wall and attempt to fire on your Frigates as this is happening. They mange to destroy some siege weapons but not that many*
*The towers on either side of the harbor gate crumble and mostly fall, making the harbor gate much weaker. The rest of the wall is even more damaged than before, now starting to fall in places. My siege ships continue to bombard it.*
OOC: How many siege weapons should you get from that? I would assume about 10 cost for the ship and the rest goes into weapons, about 20 TWE. Since they were damaged how does about 85-90 TWE sound? That assumes that 5 survived Tolfalas and about 10-15 TWE was destroyed either in that battle or just now, and it should probably be made up of ballistae, as I don't think frigates have any form of stone thrower. Y'know, NWE and SWE don't really match up very well

They really don't. If they did, Battleships would be worth around 100 TWE.

The battleships fire at your ships as they sink. All non-gunner crewmen abandon ship.

masterlegobuilders 100 Siege-worth enters the city. The Trebuchets are set up high atop the city walls, and they begin to fire down onto the heavily damaged Umbarian Siege Ships.
Numbers 6 Trebuchets 1 Onager
12 Ballistae are salvaged from the frigates, and they are placed in strategic positions behind the walls. They do not fire.
