{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} 8legos , would you mind beginning your cavalry charge? I can move my siege weapons into range if necessary so I can keep him busy while you do that.
{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} Sam, assuming 8L has left early, would you mind following through with our plans here when you're ready? Just read through our earlier jammers.

Quick correction to my SWE. I thought I had paid for the crews as well. So there are 50 scorpions, 25 mangonels, and 21 ballistae, still totaling 500 SWE.
Total: 1,350 (2,000 MWE, more or less. I'm too lazy to do the exact calculations right now. )
There is also 500 SWE, consisting of 85 ballistae, 50 mangonels, and 45 scorpions. They are stationed like this (scorpions aiming towards the army's flanks):
S BBBBBBBBBBB S SBBBBBMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBS S S S S
*Another force of elves arrives and adds onto the formation already here.*

Great, thanks!
IC: *The mangonels approach within range (remaining out of range of the enemy archers) and launch large stones against the walls of the fortress.*
*The scorpions and ballistae simultaneously move alongside the mangonels, providing cover against any enemy attack, while the main army remains a short distance behind the artillery.*

*Most of the mangonels fire at the walls, but 15 of them aim over the walls, trying to land boulders on the enemy. The scorpions also try to get the enemy troops, firing at such an angle that the large arrows fly over the walls and come down on the enemy.*

How do they know where the troops are?
It's a reasonable guess that the troops aren't all huddled on one side of the fortress. One, that's unreasonable, given the number of troops you have in the fortress, and two, at the very least it does more damage and forces the troops to the other side, where debris would likely fall on them from the damaged wall. So it's more of an educated guess, really.

Yeah that makes sense I suppose. *The troops spread out and wait*

*The mangonels continue to fire on the walls and interior of the fortress.*

*The troops attempt to exit through the damaged walls of the fortress*
OOC: So they are attempting to escape in the direction of my troops? That's the only side that has been damaged so far. I'd like be sure before I make my move.
