It's Pony-sized, that's the only description we know. I'd say that, since it was a large cavern in the books, it is pretty thin to the side of the mountain. And they're basically bashing/digging or whatever they need to do to get through.
Well if that's the case, you should be able to get it done quite easily. I'm not sure that the Front Porch will ever be quite the same again, though, after you've smashed it out pretty thoroughly.
IDK, I was imagining this was maybe a foot of solid rock that we're talking about. But that's really just speculation; MM's trolls will break thru sooner or later. My main objection was just to the DASTs, which were attempting to break open the entrance by shooting bolts from scorpions at it.

Give them a move or two, and at least someone will find a way to break through. Yeah, that wouldn't work out very well.

Well, it's more than just cracking it up; he's trying to open it up enough to get his tanks through. But yes, it would happen in time.
Indeed.

OK, since I now am on the Higher Pass with units, well, first off: *1,300 MWE leave the region.* Now their are no units on the Lower Pass as of right now.
500 Atlatl Pin-pointers (1,000) 50 HArmored Trolls (1,000) 1,250 Goblin Youngling Archers (500) 20 DASTS (300) with 2 Siege Crew and 3 Archer Crew each 20 Zwangliders (200) with 3 Pike Crew and 2 Archer Crew each
Already moves: *Soon after Nightfall, Climbers and 500 Goblin Youngling archers (GYA) sneakily climb out of the Front Porch, moving into the mountains.* *A few minutes later, The Trolls, DASTs and Zwangliders all line up quietly outside the Front Porch, and begin to march towards the Beorning's Camp.* *The Atlatl Pin-pointers, 750 GYA and the 1,000 Pike Crew begin moving some of debris from the Front Porch, first to prevent movement of Siege weapons further up the pass, and then to create a basic barrier for themselves inside the Porch.*
So Basically, here is what I believe the Pass is like right now:
EEEEE R R r RR AAAAA TTTTTT BBBBBB
Caves aren't included on this map, just so you know. Everything is a straight line for simplicity. E= Elves R/r= Rocks A= Atlatl Pin-pointers and company T= Tanks and Trolls B= Beornings Climbers and Company not shown, as they are in stealth mode on the surrounding mountainside.
You guys do realize you won't win here, right? This is one of the few regions where goblins have a very distinctive advantage.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

Well, my intent was to have the Beornings come and join with my elves. But given 8L's last move here, that didn't really seem to happen. So yeah, I'd have to say that's pretty much correct.
Just to be clear, your rock barrier is blocking the pass itself, as well as the entrance to the Front Porch? If so, I'm assuming it's still possible for most units to still climb over said barrier, just with some time and effort?
And JSYK, my elves would have spent the time while you were breaking up your doorway in making further defenses in said cave. Now:
*My elves begin work on a similar barrier to yours, just on the outside of the cave they're occupying.*

Actually, it isn't a barrier for unitry. It's basically to force you to either clear said rock away or abandon your Siege Weapons. The part in front of the Front Porch more like what you're describing however.
I understand that you have a very strong defendable position, and am working out a way to attack, while attacking the Beornings (or trying to.)

Alright, sounds good.

And they're supposedly on the upper pass. You'll have to talk things out with MM and EE to figure out what that means for the battle, though.
OK, basically, every unit is on the Upper Pass, or in the mountains climbing (and that's only a number of goblins.). My Tanks and Trolls are moving towards your units, along with. My Zwangliders (troop defense) are in front, then Trolls, then DASTs (Scorpion Tanks). They are approaching your location, which is higher up the Higher Pass (You're almost as high as you get, though not quite.)
