2. So your tanks are no wider than a dwarf is? Then how can a goblin manuever a bow (let alone a pike) inside this thing? Do you have any measurements of the size of this thing?
4. So the Zwangliders are basically tanks on ziplines? Sounds like something from a cartoon. Ah well, thanks for clarifying.
2. I didn't say no wider, I simply said that they're little larger. I do not have measurements, but then the width isn't the real problem, it's the height it sounded like. A pony could barely fit in it, but the tanks are no wider. And if you want to be fighting an offensive cliffs, then I suppose that's your death.
4. basically, yeah.
It would seem to me that the width is a problem. Height may be as well, but Tolkien never gave specifics on how tall the entrance was, besides the fact that it was low. But on the width... if your DAORVs are really as wide as you seem to be saying, I'm seriously doubting the feasability of this thing. Since goblins are small, you may be able to cram them in there like sardines. But they would have absolutely no room whatsoever to hold/manuever weapons, or even turn a crank, for that matter. (That's how it's powered, no?). Do you have an explanation for that?

But if he never gave specifics, and it's little wider than a DWARF, then a goblin should be able to wield his weapon in their (do you see the largest orc/goblin weapons? they're like half the size of a normal pike, and while I don't Always follow that stereotype, this is one of those times when it's needed.) As for cramming goblins in for sardines, why do you think that I gave it such a limit, despite the fact that goblins are small. Also, you forget that if their are no specifics, then the HQ leader decides, based on info given to him.

But he did give specifics. He said they had to unsaddle and unpack the ponies in order to squeeze them through. Therefore, your DAORVs would have to be smaller than that. If they are, I believe that their size would be a serious impediment to its functionality.
I'm aware goblins are smaller, and so are their weapons. But even if you halve a pike in size, it's still going to be several feet long. Longer than your vehicle is wide. So if there's several goblins all lined up in this thing with pikes, they simply couldn't manuever them. Bows aren't as long, but they would also have issues there, especially when at full drawback.
Also, you say that you only follow the stereotype of small goblins when it suits you. Does that mean you change how big they are based on what you need them to be?

you know what, fine. They're on the Low Pass, my moves are below. you won this argument.
Also, I don't change the size of the goblins, just their weapons. so some of them have a normal sized pikes, some have goblin-sized pikes, that kind of thing. And It's only different in, like, one instance (I don't remember which off the top of my head.)
So, moves:
*My troops move into various caves.* *The Trebs Ready themselves within their caves.* *The DAORVs ready themselves just inside the Cave Entrances.*

Excellent, thank you.
Ah, OK, that makes more sense. Just as long as the weapon size is determined before combat.
Are the troops moving into caves on the Lower or Higher Pass?
*My troops continue moving along the High Pass until they meet up with the Beornings. From there, a number of the elves go and begin moving large rocks to block up the entrance to the Front Porch.*

{JAMMERS GOOD ONLY!} 8legos, where do you want to go with this? I'm blocking off the Front Porch, we'll see what he says to that. Aside from that, I believe we have complete control of the Higher Pass; he may have some troops in caves, but those should be easily dealt with. However, most of his dangerous stuff is in caves on the Lower Pass. Do we simply want to concede the Lower Pass for now, and strengthen our hold on the Higher Pass? Or should we go on the offensive?

Lower pass. And weapon size is dependant on the type of unit, not the combat, so don't worry.
*4,500 MWE moves out into Goblin Town.* that leaves 100 DAORVs and 20 Trebuchet in the region.
nulled. If your troops could actually find the Front Porch without goblins giving it away, then it would have been blocked up long ago by SOMEONE. The elves may not have even blocked it up, it could have been a company of Dwarves who discovered it.

{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} Sounds good, if we control the higher pass, we can fire down on his troops. Smashing them. Lets hold the higher pass and wipe him off that, then we go defensive there.

{JAMMERS! GOOD ONLY!} Well, now he's bringing stuff up to the front. I think I can stall him by arguing, tho.
But we will need to figure out a way to beat him on the High Pass eventually. I'ma set up a defensive position, your Beornings can join me. I'll also bring in some siege engines. to help take care of trolls. Any thoughts?

Can you guys please respond to moves rather than jammering quietly? I'd like to spend time arguing rather than waiting. Not that I like arguing, it's just that is at least productive.

Sure, sorry. I was going to respond to your moves (and make some of my own), but then I had to go eat lunch.

K, cool.
*My troops (presumably with the assistance of the Beornings) find a large cavern (Fully explored tho, so nothing nasty inside ). They begin to set up some basic defenses, etc.*
True point, fair enough.

20 DASTS (300) with 2 Siege Crew and 3 Archer Crew each
20 Zwangliders (200) with 3 Pike Crew and 2 Archer Crew each
Here's my army, now on the Higher Pass. You might see the Goblin Town Legion 2 soon enough as well, just so you know.
Oh, and also: *Once the Army is ready, the DASTS fire at the entrance, blasting a hole large enough for the Tanks and Trolls to get out of.* 20%
How on earth do the DASTS blast the entrance open? This is solid rock we're talking about. Unless I'm mistaken, their only siege weapons are scorpions, which are in no ways powerful enough to do that.
Anyways, guess I should prepare to see a lot of goblins.

I was thinking Armor Piercing bullets up at the top. I mean, if they can get through metal, then they should be able to go through rocks. Also, that's why it'll take 5 IRL days.
