So, since I'm on the HIgh Pass and I get the first move, here we go:
*The Trebuchet and Tanks form up in two directions.* *The Trebuchet begin randomly firing down the Pass in both directions.* Essentially, I move to the peak of the pass, and use and Avalanche to keep both Beorning and Elves at bay. Here's what each side of the Formation looks like (mirrored, of course)
DDDDDDDDDD TTTTTTTTTT TTTTTTTTTT TTTTTTTTTT
D=Tanks T=Trebs That's 55 Trebuchets firing in each direction.
Er...wouldn't my last move prevent most (if not all) of your tanks being up there? Or are you just going to pretend like it never happened?
I thought you just said that we would go with what I was saying, which was that I entered on the Higher Pass, not the Lower Pass. "So I'll go with what you're saying here."
Therefore we're back to the first move, and I'm on the Higher pass. Your move.

I only meant that in regards to your troops being on the Higher Pass. Your tanks would still have to be pulled up, no?

{JAMMERS! -Good- ONLY!} EE, do you need to pull out of here to go attack the Isenguardians? I have 5k here that should be able to hold off MM untill I get renforcements from the wilderland or Gundabad.

Either my troops were originally on the Higher Pass, or they weren't. Make up your mind. They should be on the Higher Pass, meaning that you can't get close thanks to Trebuchet. Or else, they are staying on the Lower Pass, the Trebs in caves and the tanks protecting them. make. up. your. mind.

{JAMMERS! GOOD ONLY!} I'll probably pull some out, but if I took all of them, I'd be leaving Rivendell vulnerable to attack from this quarter as well. But I want to see what happens in our debate first.
Still, this is, from this point forward, going to mostly be your battle.

What I'm saying is that I thought your move of pulling the tanks up applied regardless. I.E., our debate concerned whether or not your orcs were on the higher pass, but your tanks were on the lower pass either way.
The reason I say this is because of the nature of the entrances to Goblin-Town. We've agreed that the "Front Porch" was on the higher pass, while the main entrance was on the lower pass. However, if I recall correctly, said Front Porch lay much higher than most of the rest of Goblin-Town. Furthermore, the passages leading up to it, and into the actual pass from the Porch, were quite narrow. Thus, I believe that any tanks and trebuchets would have had to have been brought out through the main entrance.

OK, I understand. No, I've been saying that all my troops are on the Higher pass.
Yes, the nature is. However, for the simplicity of this I have been considering the main caves as part of Goblin Town, like I used to do with part of the Dale on Moria, until realizing that the Dale isn't really large enough for the Morian gate to be included. In addition, If I did need to, I could change my DAORVS to Zwangliders (changing design only slightly.) and then end this discussion with the fact that Zwangliders are built for various pulley systems the goblins have designed. And yes it would have been narrow, but that only speaks to the amount coming up at once. I'd say that it would take several hours to get up the pass (leaving at dawn and seeking shelter after dark tends to be that long.) and that is enough to at least have the Zwangliders up, in which case I can then defend from you. Also, while we must keep to Canon, the book's actually talk about a hole in the wall in which numerous goblins came out of at once. We have no idea the dimensions of the hole, and as such they are up to the HQ leader (me) to decide. One could also argue that the Front Porch is in front of the Main Entrance, even if it is not the heaviest used.
So, several points condensed quickly at the end, some in their, some not: First off, the Front Porch is actually a crack in the wall, not the floor like in the Movies. Second off, if rolled in the correct way, the Zwangliders/DAORVs are little larger than a goblin. Third off, the Front Porch itself could be argued to be part of Goblin Town.

You seem to be forgetting that my Beornings are on the HIGH pass and could possibly prevent the orcs from scaling the mountion.
I don't know all the details and I don't want to, I just wanted to point that out.
other than the fact that your Beornings came after my goblins would have scaled the mountain, not to mention that they are nowhere near the point that the goblins are scaling? yeah.

Per usual, I'm not entirely successful in determining what everything you said means. So I'm just going to respond to your condensed points in order.
1. I'm not denying that. The crack itself would probably be large enough. However, the entrance to the actual cave was rather low and quite narrow. They had to unsaddle and unpack their ponies in order to be able to squeeze them through. Can't imagine tanks could pass through that.
2. How? Please elaborate.
3. Perhaps. Doesn't change the fact that the entrance can't fit tanks.
4. (Another question) How exactly are your DAORVs similar to your Zwangliders? I thought DAORVs were tanks, while Zwangliders were basically orcs who could ride pulleys. Which don't seem at all alike...

1. very well, the trebs will have to be pulled up. 2. The Tanks are rectangular, and little larger than the goblin in width (the way they normally move) and little more than needed to give 6 goblins enough space to manuever their weapons around in it's depth (which it can also roll through). Therefore, if a dwarf can fit through, so can the tanks. 3. on par. 4. DAORVs are the Basic Tank unit. They are rectangular, with arrow slits/pike slits and a locked door of some sort. Zwangliders are an aerodynamic Tank with arrow slits/pike Slits, and the part that allows them to ride pulleys. Zwangliders ALLOW orc to ride pulleys, but they are a tank extremely similar to the DAORVs. DAORVs go out into the field, and Zwangliders protect fortified bases.

1. and 3. Alrighty.
2. So your tanks are no wider than a dwarf is? Then how can a goblin manuever a bow (let alone a pike) inside this thing? Do you have any measurements of the size of this thing?
4. So the Zwangliders are basically tanks on ziplines? Sounds like something from a cartoon. Ah well, thanks for clarifying.

2. I didn't say no wider, I simply said that they're little larger. I do not have measurements, but then the width isn't the real problem, it's the height it sounded like. A pony could barely fit in it, but the tanks are no wider. And if you want to be fighting an offensive cliffs, then I suppose that's your death.
4. basically, yeah.
