High Pass actually consists of two passes, one higher, the other lower. The average traveller usually avoided the lower pass, as it was often occupied by orcs. The Pass was created by Oromë in the First Age to allow the Eldar to cross over the mountains. It was also used by the dwarves later on. The army of Gil-galad and Elendil passed through it in the Second Age, and Thorin Oakenshield and company passed through in the Third Age in their well-known journey to Erebor.
The High Pass simply borders the Carrock to the east, Goblin Town to the south, and Rivendell to the west.
*2,000 EWE enter the region cautiously, from Rivendell. Making their way along the upper level of the High Pass, they continue until they come within sight of the orcs (or whatever units you have, MM ). Upon seeing the orcs, my elves take up defensive positions above the orcs, just within their arrow range (but not for orcs). This is done quietly, so as not to attract the orcs' attention. Once in position, the archers begin to rain arrows upon the orcs.*

some of this is nulled because they came up ONTO the Higher Pass (through their front door). I also have two doors on the lower pass, but my troops are at the highest part of the pass pretty much, and moved their as quickly as possible.
Even if you null that, my null is still valid because you can't make moves as you enter the region (Only the day after/after an enemy makes a move of some sort). If my Upper Pass door is nulled, here is my move. (BTW, if it's nulled I'd like to change the DAORVS to Zwangliders, but it's not a BIG deal either way, it'll just make it slightly quicker to get my troops up.)
*The Orcs use ropes and pulleys to bring the Seige Weapons and Tanks (starting with the tanks) up the pass.* This next move is either way. *The Tanks form two walls, preventing the elves OR any flanking Dalemen, and the Trebuchet behind them form half facing on each side. They then begin random fire, creating what is essentially an avanlanche.*
Oh yeah, Troop Generation, 50% *500 Goblins move into Goblin Town* (the generated troops)
Here's my list of units, equaling 5,300 MWE: 200 DAORVS/Zwangliders (1K worth) 1,000 Pike Crew (1K Worth, crew for tanks if you couldn't tell) 110 manned Trebuchet (3,300)
Have fun.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

I'll let you two sort out moves and stuff (though technically, defender gets first move after the attacker arrives), but, uhh, you shouldn't be generating troops here. Like traveling, troops generation is a daily thing (it's not based on moves). Additionally, as soon as an enemy arrives to stay with the intent to engage (as is clearly the case), troops generation stops. Since EE arrived the same day you did (today ), you wouldn't have generated any troops yet.

Does that door enter onto the higher pass? I can't seem to find much evidence either way, other than the fact that the lower pass tended to be more orc-infested, which would seem to indicate that that's where the "front porch" was. But that's inconclusive. Altho you're right about my troops having to wait on attacking. Instead, my elves would have simply went along the pass cautiously, until they saw your orcs, from which point they would have assumed defensive positions. So here's my next move:
*Seeing the orcs, all elves with bows fire a volley or two of arrows towards the orcs. Then a portion of my elves (300 Defenders of Imladris, 450 EWE) charge up to the orcs operating the pullies, attacking them as they pull up the tanks.*
*The rest of my elves stay put, forming a loose defensive position just within arrow range. The front lines are made up of Noldor Spearmen, while all other units (bow-wielders) stay behind, ready to fire at a moment's notice.*
Also, all troop generation is nulled, due to the new troop generation rule (must wait a day before starting), and the fact that my troops are now stopping that.
My troop list:
- 500 Noldor Spearmen
- 500 Noldor Bowmen
- 300 Defenders of Imladris (450 EWE)
- 30 Chosen of Este (150 EWE)
- 80 Noldor Marchwardens (400 EWE)
Total: 2,000 EWE (2,600 MWE)

Reason Might dictate that. However reason would also dictate that if the lower pass is infested, then people would stay off of it. In addition, Reason dictates that if their are multiple Entrances, their would be one on the Higher Pass. In Addition, this region is called the High Pass. Therefore reason would dictate that we are (Mainly) fighting over the High Pass, not the lower part.
Two Things about this: First off, if you keep me on the lower pass, then I hide my Trebuchet in caves and force you to fight my tanks without any support from your bow units. Not that they would do much anyway. Second, I said that the tanks would move into a defensive formation, and the Tanks came first. Therefore, their would have already been tanks up their before you could rush my pulleys. So. . . Can you redo your move? preferably so my Trebs/Tanks are on the Highest point of the pass, like they should be.

And many people did, for that reason. Anyways, we could argue about this for a while, but it'd mostly just be conjecture; neither of us have really anything to go by. So I'll go with what you're saying here.
On the first point, well, fair enough, but that depends on the second point. On #2, my troops would have plenty of time to attack your troops with the pulleys. To quote what KK said elsewhere: "Moves exist solely to make responding to each other orderly, but actions play out as if there were no turns." You didn't start pulling your tanks up until my troops were in the region, and already overlooking yours. So my troopscan easily attack yours while you are still pulling up the tanks.

So, since I'm on the HIgh Pass and I get the first move, here we go:
*The Trebuchet and Tanks form up in two directions.* *The Trebuchet begin randomly firing down the Pass in both directions.* Essentially, I move to the peak of the pass, and use and Avalanche to keep both Beorning and Elves at bay. Here's what each side of the Formation looks like (mirrored, of course)
DDDDDDDDDD TTTTTTTTTT TTTTTTTTTT TTTTTTTTTT
D=Tanks T=Trebs That's 55 Trebuchets firing in each direction.

Er...wouldn't my last move prevent most (if not all) of your tanks being up there? Or are you just going to pretend like it never happened?
