Oooo, that would be awesome! Honestly though, I'd prefer just getting a new SSB game than a port of Melee (I'd be fine with a WiiU/3DS port though). Ice Climbers are pretty sweet, but I've never really played as them before. My main fighter in SSB is Sonic
Honestly, a Melee port would probably be more appreciated than a new Smash considering the tournament scene is simply insane.
Sonic's quite fun, although i've never understood his DownB. I have 2 Smashs:on Brawl I main Meta Knight and on 4 I main Lucas.
Yeah, I do notice that Melee has a bunch of tournaments still. There are also a bunch of Wii U tournaments, but they seem to skip Brawl (which is what I have )
What is DownB because I play with a Wii Remote XD. Also Meta Knight is pretty sweet, and I find Lucas's "PK ___" phrases kinda annoying
Had a good talk with a co-worker about Smash Melee today. Apparently he thinks it might come on virtual console for the Switch:O! If it did I might consider getting a Switch. He also said that they might make Smash 4 for the Switch and possibly add Ice Climbers:O! Ice Climbers are my main in Smash, so again, might consider getting a Switch if this happens:D!

Basically, Brawl got ditched from all the tournements because it wasn't Melee and Meta Knight was completely broken(which, incidentally, is not the reason I play him). They play Wii U because it's the most recent, but once Smash 5 is out that'll be gone too.

I agree. I played SM64DS so much when I was young I really can't play the original. I love the additions of new characters and I like run buttons in my games. Also, the game plays even better on a 3DS because of the circle pad.
