semi-nulled. I have a bunch of cavalry running around all over, you think they could just randomly get their, without me noticing, on a barren Tundra? I'm Okay with the Dunedain advancing stealthily, just noting that either your Dunedain have a sight disadvantage, or that it's broad daylight on a frozen tundra. However, my moves are: *The Trebuchet fire anti-Infantry rounds in that direction, and the Skirmishers and other Archers fire at that spot.*

Barren tundra with lots of snow, making anything white (like some cloaks) blend in. Taking their time on a very roundabout path and they'd make it there (hence why my army sat and waited). However, I'm willing to say that, oh, about twenty-five golfers, fifteen archers, five snipers, three rangers and two commandos were caught and dispatched in the maneuvering process (through some combination of just getting caught and being used as diversions for other units to pass by). Sound good?
*Your forces see that a large portion of the troops in that area drop in the snow, though a few disperse into the surroundings (generally away from your troops).* *The moment that your trebuchets fire, my army marches at full speed towards your fort in a very loose formation. Onagers fire at the trebuchets as soon as they're in range.* *At almost the same exact time, another volley of arrows like the first one comes from your rear.*

And every stealth troops just suddenly has a white cloak. good idea! But whatever, as long I can tell where they are.
*The Operators take out the spare ropes and begin re-stringing the Trebuchets.* *The Frozen Skirmishers begin trampling the snow, shooting any troops that they see/saw.* When they get closer, it'll be pretty obvious. *As the main force attacks, My trebuchets turn to hit your Onagers, giving them no disadvantage due to their far superior range.* I'd guess that they'd probably get 1 or 2 extra shots even, as their Gundabad High Trebuchet. *Two of the Melee Cavalry groups attack with a hit-and-run, one from the back, one from the Right Flank.* *3 Groups of Ranged Cavalry attack with a hit-and-run, one from the front, one from the back and One from the Left Flank.*

The Dragon's Skin press the attack, using a variety of strokes and tightening the circle around the Doppelsoldners.
The front line of the Dogu-Vasi is smashed, but the rest of them fall back. The Clan Hunters focus their fire on the Axemen.
The Dragon's Skin take heavy losses from both the crossbowmen and the Doppelsoldners. They can't have more than 150 men remaining.
The Axemen pull back and stop 100 meters from the Dogu-Vasi. They take cover to avoid the Clan Hunters.
The Shock-boars begin to spread out into two ranks of 100 boars each.
All of the Macemen charge at the rear of the Dragon's Skin, smashing their maces into the unprotected backs of the Easterlings.
The Dragon's Skin takes severe losses from the Macemen, but turn and quickly adapt to this lightly armored foe. They engage the Macemen in combat, striking them down whenever possible.
The Dragon's Will charges the Doppelsoldners, finishing them off.
The Dogu-Vasi form another shield wall and prepare to fend off whoever attacks them next.

What would you expect them to bring when they know that there's a strong possibility of ending up fighting in a blizzard? Yes, they have white cloaks, because their specialty is in stealth and would thus be equipped with such clothing as to blend with their surrounding.
Remember that you just fired, so you also have to load for your first shot. Probably one free shot, with the second shot coming right about as I get into range.
*While your troops are distracted tending the trebuchets and dealing with/keeping watch on the other attackers, a large group of Hobbits on your left flank closes the distance between them and your fort (some taking longer than others, of course, as they have to scattered when in hiding to not be seen). *The surviving onagers (probably about half of them) fire on the trebuchets.* *The mangonels fire on your ranged cavalry, using grapeshot.* *The archers fire on your melee cavalry, waiting until said cavalry is heading directly towards them to maximize damage.* *The linemen do their best to hold back the melee cavalry, while spearmen relocate to better support them.*

um, Thrawn, you may not realize this, but Shock Boars are better fought 1-on-1, not in a Shield Wall. Just so you know.

I don't believe that I have troops that can fight Shock Boars one on one. I have a plan, don't worry.

Umm. . . no troops are distracted technically. The 500 Skirmishers are attacking the Dunedain, but still. *The Werewolves and Troll move in, my own Archers firing at the Tookish Archers from behind the wall.* *The Frozen Skirmishers continue to attack the various Dunedain.* *The Trebuchets continue fire on the Onagers* That would probably take out half the remaining, as yours had fired losses.
*The Cavalry are split as grapeshot comes towards them, rather than grouping.* a couple losses, but not too many. *The Black Wargs soak up the Archers hit them.* *The Black Wargs and Bronze Knights retreat back as the spearmen relocate.*
*2 more groups of melee Cavalry attack, this time from the front and left flank.* *One group of ranged Cavalry attack from the Left Flank.* *The other groups of Cavalry retreat out of range.*
this is an intense battle.

They're distracted from the Hobbits. Your cavalry would be busy attacking the Dunedain and my main army, and your archers and trebuchets would be busy assessing the sudden attacks from the three other flanks.
*Some more Dunedain (ten snipers, fifteen rangers, twenty-five commandos (the last of the Dunedain)) are spotted between the Hobbits and the second party. These ones quickly move to reinforce the Hobbits. The snipers and rangers aim for the Trolls' eye-holes, while the commandos move straight to engage the Werewolves.* *The Tookish archers fire at your Werewolves, along with any Trolls that get too close.* *The other Dunedain parties continue to fire at your trebuchets.*
*The onagers take one final volley before being finished off, but aiming for your Trolls (the combat ones) rather than the trebuchets.* *My main army repeats its previous moves. The polearm units attempt to hold off the melee cavalry, while the archers fire from point-blank. The axemen attack any cavalry who go deeper into the formation than the front line, and the mangonels continue bombarding the ranged cavalry (or whatever other cavalry is around).*
Indeed it is. Though I think we both know how it's going to end.

Ok, whatever.
*The Trolls shields their eyes as they get close.* *The Werewolves keep behind the Trolls, using the armored legs as cover.* *The Trolls attack the Dunedain while the Werewolves continue towards the Hobbits.* *The 500 Skirmishers have almost completely wiped out the other Dunedain.* (You've basically ignored them).
*The Trolls take minimal losses, due to a quick change in your Onagers target and the fact that the Trolls are running perpendicular to them.* *The Cavalry all back off of your Main force, now moving towards Dale.* *The Onagers fire at you Mangonels now, which (as far as I understand) are not yet in range themselves.*
I'm going to beat you to be defeated by Dale? yeah, probably.
