The newer movies aren't bad, but to get a good picture of Star Trek you'd have to watch the old stuff.
The only old movie I have seen is It's a Wonderful Life or whatever that Christmas movie is:P.
You've still got to see some of the old shows.

I started at 8 and went till 4. Don't tell me that's short.
I go from 10-4, only because I take a 2-3 hour lunch break.
I had an hour max for lunch, sometimes only half an hour.

How are you allowed to do that safely? This table is far from smooth and the cup could easily be swayed/tipped off balance.

I thought so. I saw one other black and white movie actually. It was The Most Dangerous Game. Watched it in English after reading the short story of the same name.
I've seen the movie once and read it twice, the movie is very inaccurate.
