Welcome to Dale! Dale is a thriving city in Rhovanion just south of Erebor the Lonely Mountain. Dale is a wealthy nation due to its trade with Erebor, as well as the Elven kingdom of Mirkwood. The city of Dale has been rebuild since the events of the Hobbit and has become the prime kingdom of men in Rhovanion.
The Dale HQ boarders Erebor, Esgorath (Lake Town), Celduin, and Mirkwood.
The Sub HQ For Dale is The Beorning Sub HQ, which is located near the Carrock.
Hello! What are the starting defenses of this HQ? walls? Towers? I'd like to know please.
Here you go. Good luck.
The city of Dale is on a lake which is surrounded by walls, which extend to Erebor. Their is a few bridges to Dale but they can be retracted. There is also a chain around Dale to prevent ships from sailing right up to the walls. In the city there is three layers of wall built on a hill, and both the outer layer and the final layer are built like the Theodosius walls. There is also many towers which archers and siege weapons can fire out of. Each gate (there is three on the outer wall, two on the second, and one in the final) is protected by a large fortified gate house. In the final layer there is a massive citadel, where the palace is. It has towers, and gate houses, layers that allow the inner layers to fire on the outer layer.

I think that’s about it for now.
So in other words you’re not going to get in.
Wait, is Dale on a lake?

Tolkien Gateway: "Dale was situated in the valley between the southwestern and southeastern arms of the Lonely Mountain, nestled in a sharp U-shaped bend of the River Running. It was known as a merry town that traded, mainly in food-supplies, for the skills and craft-pieces of the Dwarves. Dale's toy market was the wonder of the North and the town was renowned for its bells."
