Yep. They're pretty interesting topics, but the homework is tough, at least for Machine learning since it's the most math heavy. Artificial Intelligence so far is more like puzzle solving which is more enjoyable.
That's good. What kind of places do you visit on your walks? Ah, I see. That'll be easy to catch up on.
Very cool. So what sort of machines are you learning about?
Mostly woodland and small villages. Lol, yes.
Yep. Actually, the idea of Machine Learning is that the machine (or more specifically the computer) is able to learn the relationships of inputs and outputs given some training data, and be able to accurately predict the output of an input it has never seen before.
Ooh, very nice. I live in the city, so I have quite the opposite experience with not many trees and big buildings. Yep.

So, you sort of tune the machine/computer to your needs, programming information in the computer to make it more versatile?

Ah, I see. So do you go to parks and so on?
Yeah, kind of. A good example is predicting the prices of houses, where you might consider how the size, age, style, number of rooms, and all kinds of variables that contribute to the price of the house. It's easy to look at one variable and it's relationship with price, but when there are multiple variables at the same time it's definitely humanly unthinkable. Machine learning looks at the known data and attempts to figure all that out by itself.
Not really since there aren't very many parks around that I can visit, though my school is probably the closest thing to a park since it does look quite nice.

I see. Yeah, it's always nice to see a bit of nature.

Yep. Pretty neat stuff, but also incredibly complicated. Even I don't quite understand all of the math behind it.
