"Really? He appears to be burning alive." Demiu pauses. "Name the terms."
"Only on the outside. His insides are fully protected. I want you to turn over any Xain prisoners you have to me and let us all go. In exchange, I am willing to answer three questions you pose to me about our empire. I will also do everything in my power to prevent our armies from ever returning. If I fail, I will send you advance notice so that you can be prepared."
"I will consider those terms. In the meantime, you will come with us to the Dragon Kingdom."

"Deliberations must take place here. I will not answer questions in any other place."
Demiu then goes over to his horse, removing parchment, pen and ink from the saddlebags before going inside.
The bear transforms back into a dwarf and walks over to Dror and the soldier. At a nod from Dror, the soldier begins examining his wounds.
Two of the soldiers come out of the Tavern and go round to the other side. Once out of sight, they mount their horses and gallop north, not travelling in plain sight until they are too far away for the Xains to see them.
{Letter One - to Stennevavfjellan} To the Dwarves of Stennev'avfjellan, You do not know me, but you may remember my predecessor, His Grace the Duke Arthurian, who aided you during the Civil War. He was smashed by the Bear Knights, allies of the foreigners who now march upon the south. Thus, the leadership of the Lion Kingdom falls to me. The invasion launched by the Xain Empire has crushed all who oppose it. The Dragon Kingdom is all but destroyed, and the southern armies are in disarray. It will not be long before we are crushed, unless reinforcements come. Their intent is to take the entire continent, and if the South falls then the North will follow, as no one Kingdom can withstand them. It is vital that we stem the flow before they gain a foothold on our shores, and turn their camps into castles. I beg you, remember our old alliance and send all the strength you can spare south, before it is too late. If you can persuade any of the other kingdoms to send troops, that would also be beneficial to all, but even just your own warriors could make a difference. Demiu of the House of Lions

"I was found, what I want to know is whats going to happen to you all" Xavic says watching the dwarf.
"I'm not sure. Hopefully, they will accept my terms and we will be set free. If not, well, could I ask you a favor? If you would find me a quill, some ink, and a sheaf of paper I would appreciate it. I'd like to write to my family, in case things don't go so well."

"I will get them you." Xavic goes to find the stuff.
