As the "statues" come to life, Karthon finds an inconspicuous place to stand by and watch the spectacle. And when it passed, he felt a surge of excitement in the knowledge that there now were these special creatures to aid against the Xain Invasion.
"What next?" He blurted before he thought better of the question.
"Next, we sail." As the rest of the Kriatoma begin moving towards the far end of the cavern, where Karthon sees another tunnel, Alpida makes her way back to the others, snagging a random Kriatoma on the way. When she reaches the entrance, she tells the Kriatoma man, "Take Marina, Sevan, and Lluc back to our ship and then guide them to the docks." She turns to Karthon. "You, Saul, Gerr, and Dubhan come with me." She leads them to where most of the Kriatoma are leaving.

They are led up into a large grotto on the far side of the island. Gathered there are several sailing ships outfitted for war and perfectly designed for speed and mobility, their sleek, dark bodies almost like predators of the sea. The kriatoma begin to board.

The Kriatoma ships soon draw within the line of sight of the Xain ships. The sailors begin preparing the ship for battle while the soldiers ready themselves.

One of the Orodrakus flies close to the Kriatoma ships, but when they see Alpida raising the flag of the Shadow Warriors they fly away. As the ships draw closer to the Xains, the seas become suddenly very rough. They are whipped about by wind and waves, but the Xain ships appear entirely unaffected. The other ships slowly peel away, moving away from the tiny storm, but the one Alpida, Karthon, and the others are on presses forward. "We have to get close enough to board," explains Alpida over the wind, "So we can distract them enough to help the rest of the army turn the tide on the beach."
LegoBuilder: On the beach, as he fights against the horde, Casúr sees the strange ships grow closer. As he watches, one of the Orodrakus flies over and then turns around. Suddenly, he is tackled to the ground and Xain soldiers begin to pile up on top of him. He struggles, but their numbers are too many. And then they are gone. An Orodrakus rider stands over him, apparently the same one who scouted out the ships. "You should go get your friend. They carry his flag."

Casúr stands slowly and runs his eyes over the beach, looking for any sort of prison-like structure. He sees a small stockade, and immediately charges at it. His hammer swings with deadly precision as it slams into enemies left and right. Xain soldiers fly through the air with crushed armor while their comrades desperately try to stop the charging Minotaur.
He reaches the stockade and smashes the gate in half with a mighty swing. Valithor is lying on the ground inside. Casúr smashes two more Xain who try to stop him and picks his friend up, slinging him over his shoulder. He then charges back out, smashing two more guards before diving headlong into the battle raging outside. Xain soldiers see him coming and form a line of pikes in an attempt to slay the monster that they face. Casúr shifts his grip on Valithor and holds his weapon in one hand as he continues his charge. The Xain watch the beast bear down on them with a hammer in his right hand. At the last moment, he knocks away the pike in front of him and lowers his head as he hits the soldier behind the weapon. He tosses his head up and throws the screaming man through the air. Within minutes, he is behind Oruthalian lines once again.

Despite the storm, the ship at last manages to draw close to one of the Xain ships. "With me!" shouts Alpida, motioning for Karthon, Saul, Gerr, and Dubhan to follow. She leaps onto a ship and begins battling through the soldiers and sailors.

On a corner of the beach, far enough to be unnoticed but close enough to the fighting to reach it quickly, a small boat docks. Several people disembark and charge toward the battle, weapons in hand. They begin fighting against the Xains.

At last. Karthon thinks, rushing after Alpida with the feeling of battle flowing. He draws his blade and makes for the nearest Xain soldier.

OOC: What kind of weapons do the Xains use?
"Follow me. I have a plan." Alpida clears a path and ushers them to jump to the next ship.
OOC: More or less the same as the people of the continent- a wide variety including a lot of mundane ones (swords, axes, spears) and a few more exotic ones, as well as shields. In the close quarters of the ship they'll mostly be using things like swords, axes, and daggers.

With a nod Karthon rushes in a mighty leap and upon landing blocks a slash from an Xain swordsman.
OOC: Thank you, just wasn't sure if they had any unique cultural weapons.

Karthon holds against the tide of foes, slashing and parrying with some effort as he had not seen a battle for some time. Coming up to one particularly muscular Xain brute brandishing a mighty axe he swiftly evaded being hewn in two, and very well would have if it weren't for the rogue's superior reflexes. After a horizontal strike he ducked under and spun around to successfully dispatch yet another enemy, with only another to take his place.

Karthon saw and fought to where Alpida was.
Alpida helps Karthon onto the next ship, before leaping on herself with a mighty roar and a swing of her mace.

The rogue fights on alongside the Grayling, becoming better with each opponent as he came back into the fighting spirit.
After felling a rather difficult soldier, Karthon leant against the bulwark to regain his poise. In the few seconds he had to recover, his eyes darted across the scene in search of the Xain commander. But, unversed in their culture he hadn't time to differ the leader from the followers and only just parried a thrust from an enemy spear, and so the battle continues.
