OOC: I just remembered Alpida also brought five Shadow Warriors with her.
IC: Alpida approaches him, "I will send two of the soldiers with you. Two will come with me, and the last one will return to the HQ castle to inform everyone of our whereabouts."
"Oh.. that is fine. I hail from land afar... I arrived by ship less than a month ago and now wander here."
"I believe the invading force is known as the Xain Empire. They too are from distant shores. Would you happen to know anything of them?"
OOC: Canonically, the only places humans live are here, and on the continent the Xain Empire is from. That wouldn't prevent his ancestors from sailing somewhere else, but it does make that other continent his most likely point of origin.
OOC: Sorry RuleJJ, I haven't actually thought of Karthon's backstory yet, however it would be an interesting plot twist if he had Xain blood in him..? I'll keep that air of mystery about him for now ('til I make Karthon's history.)

I think the technical limit is two, though adding minor characters to flesh things out is okay and Eventmasters like me can have as many as we want. For storyline purposes, of course, not because I'm planning on taking over every HQ and forcing everybody to do whatever I want. That would be crazy, and I'm not crazy.

OOC: Yeah, I have a bad habit now of launching into things without reading the instructions. Also, thanks for the "hints" you put there.
IC: "That is fine. I suppose many a traveller feels the same as we do here." Karthon then spies a store that circumscribes the items he wishes to acquire. "If you will excuse me." With a bow Karthon leaves for the shop.
Karthon arrives at the store that sells food and water supplies, fairly good ones by the look of them through the shop window.
Upon entering he knocks upon the frame of the open door. "Hello?" He called sternly. With no reply, Karthon proceeded to gather up the supplies he required for his journey and decided to pay after he did so. Provided anyone is even here. He thought with some amusement.
